    Who is that Assyrian that will be dismayed through the voice of Jehovah / in that Day of vengeance and wrath /- mentioned in VERSE 31 ?

    The Assyrian is a reference to the Beast/"Antichrist" -hmm-...

    >>The Assyrian is suppose to be defeated ONLY UNTO the Coming of Jesus at the Battle of Armageddon Revelation 19:20 ...NOT at the 6Th SEAL.

    Isaiah 30:26-31
    31 For through the voice of Jehovah shall the Assyrian be dismayed; with his rod will he smite [him].

    Quite right. The Anti-Christ will be chained up by Jesus at His Return.
    What happens at the Sixth Seal, is the Judgement/punishment of the nations and the most affected area will be the entire Middle East region. Ezekiel 30:1-5, Zephaniah 2:4-5, Amos 1
    This event will be triggered by an attack against Israel by a confederation of Islamic nations and entities. Psalms 83:1-18, Micah 4:11-12

    Read carefully Isaiah 30:26-31 THE ASSYRIAN will be dismayed during the SAME DAY...THUS THE DAY OF VENGEANCE AND WRATH IS THE DAY OF HIS COMING ...AS DESCRIBED in Revelation 16:15-21 and Revelation 19...

    Isaiah 30:26-31
    26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that Jehovah bindeth up the hurt of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.

    27 Behold, the name of Jehovah cometh from far, burning with his anger, and in thick rising smoke: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue is as a devouring fire; 28 and his breath is as an overflowing stream, that reacheth even unto the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of destruction: and a bridle that causeth to err [shall be] in the jaws of the peoples.

    29 Ye shall have a song as in the night when a holy feast is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come unto the mountain of Jehovah, to the Rock of Israel.

    30 And Jehovah will cause his glorious voice to be heard, and will show the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of [his] anger, and the flame of a devouring fire, with a blast, and tempest, and hailstones.

    31 For through the voice of Jehovah shall the Assyrian be dismayed; with his rod will he smite [him].

    No, Riberra, you are shuffling Revelation to make the Day of the Lord's wrath happen at the Return.
    They are plainly two separate events, described quite differently and prophesied at different times.

    Assyria, verse 31 is not talking about an individual at all. Isaiah 30:30-33 tells how the Lord will punish the godless peoples with devouring flames of fire, by His breath like a stream of brimstone, setting them all ablaze.
    Why is it so hard for you to see that there has to be some kind of dramatic event to commence all that must happen before Jesus Returns?

    Joel 1:15 The day is near, the Day of the Lord it comes as a mighty destruction from Almighty God.
    Joel 2:1-5 Blow the trumpet in Israel, sound the alarm in Jerusalem. Let all who live in the Land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming – it is close at hand. A Day of darkness and clouds.
    With the dawn, an innumerable host comes across the land, such as never was and will never be again. A fire goes before them, leaving wasteland behind. With a great noise they leap mountains and consume everything to stubble.

    Joel 2:6-11 At the sight of them, all the nations are in anguish. They march in line, none swerving against any defense. They rush upon cities and enter houses through the windows. The earth quakes and the sky is darkened. The Lord thunders at the head of His army, beyond number are those who obey His command. The Day of the Lord is great and dreadful, who can endure it?

    Joel 1:6-12 & 19-20 this invading host destroys trees and crops. Fire has burnt the pastures and trees. All the streams have dried up.

    The Day of the Lord, as described by Joel is not Armageddon, at the Return of Jesus or at the Great White Throne judgement. It is plainly an event before then, also prophesied in Isaiah 2:12-21, Revelation 6:12-17, Ezekiel 7:2-9: + over other 100 times in our Bible.

    Joel uses the metaphor of an army to describe how this destruction moves across the earth as it rotates- ‘with the dawn’. As nations turn to face the sun, the effects of a Coronal Mass Ejection- sunstrike will hit them. Initially, it will strike the earth as a light flash [Isaiah 30:26a] within 8 minutes, then the highly charged cosmic particles arrive about 24 hours later, causing immense destruction and deaths. Fires and volcanic eruptions will result in smoke and ash clouds, covering the sky. Isaiah 29:5-6, Psalms 18:7-15, Jeremiah 4:23-28
    Judah [the current State of Israel] is affected- Hosea 8:14, Ezekiel 20:45-48, Isaiah 4:3-4.

    And the Lord’s enemies: Isaiah 22:5-14, Psalms 83:1-18, Isaiah 63:1-6 plus many others.

    Deuteronomy 32:34-35 says how He will act when His enemies ‘foot will slip”. That is they make a mistake. That mistake will be their instigating an attack against Israel.

    Malachi 4:1-3 Surely the day of the Lord is coming, it will burn like a furnace. All the evildoers will be as stubble, they will be burned up. They will be ashes under your feet. But for you, who revere My Name, righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. You will rejoice and prevail over the wicked on the Day that I act against them.

    THEN the many prophecies that describe the migration of all true believers into the Promised Land will come to pass. This great exodus of His Christian people will fulfil the promises that God made to the Patriarchs and they will, at last be a people that will be a ‘light to the nations’. They will prepare themselves and the world for the Return of Jesus. Ezekiel 35:11-15, Ezekiel 36:8-12, Deuteronomy 30:1-10, Zechariah 10:6-12, Isaiah 46:27-28, Ezekiel 39:25-29, Zephaniah 10:6-12

    That Jesus is not yet present at this time, is clear from the many verses saying: ‘You will know that I am the Lord, when... And how it ‘will be as in the days of Egypt’.
    Eze. 14:6-11, Eze 39:22, Joel 2:27, Isa 41:20. Reference: REB, NIV. Some verses abridged

    Before His visible appearance for the battle of Armageddon ,Jesus will come as a thief in the night Revelation 16:15...that is what will start the DAY of the LORD ...

    Thus the destruction happening during the 7 TH VIAL in Revelation 16:15-21 fit the total destruction mentioned in Isaiah 30:27-31 perfectly....Jesus will be visible only before the Battle of Armageddon[Revelation 19:11] for the final act during that Day of Vengeance and Wrath who will begin with Jesus Coming as a thief in the night Revelation 16:15-21...

    Hardly.
    There are many differences; the mountains for example, in the Sixth seal, they are moved from their places. In Revelation 16:20; they are flattened.
    You still avoid my question of what must commence the end times events. There has been a move for a One World Govt for over 100 years. Nations won't give up their sovereignty, but the devastation of the Sixth Seal by fire from the sun, earthquakes, violent storms and tsunamis, will force the nations to form a OWG.

    That prove that the devastation of the 7TH VIAL associated with Jesus coming as a thief will be nearly TOTAL [the cities of the nations fell] the mountains flattened,every islands fled away ,a great hail of stones weighting 100 lbs [1 talent] Revelation 16:15-21

    The GREAT EARTHQUAKE of the 6 TH SEAL of course [Revelation 6:12], that will cause big damages in every cities around the World....HOWEVER, the 6 TH SEAL IS NOT THE GREAT DAY OF THE LORD'S VENGEANCE AND WRATH WHO WILL COME AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT hint >>Revelation 16:15-21...

    Rev 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
    (The seals book is the Book of Revelation.)

    Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
    Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
    Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

    Rev 6:12  And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
    Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
    Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
    Rev 6:15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
    Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
    Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

    2Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

    2Th 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

    2Th 1:9  Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

    2Th 1:10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

    The 7 SEALS must be opened one by one before than what is described in the Book can begin....the opening of the 7Th Seal will permit to the events written in the Book to begin...Revelation 8...
    Each SEAL opened have his own set of event who will occurs before the trumpets..
    [IMG]
    From the nearly 2,000 years of history since the Book of Revelation have been written by john ,we can observe that the events recorded and still happening correspond to Seal 1 to Seal 5.

    Seal 1:The conquest of the Gospel -White Horse-
    Seal 2:Wars who have plagued humanity -Red Horse-
    Seal 3:Famines who have plagued humanity-Black Horse-
    Seal 4:1/4 of the surface of the Earth affected by WW1 and WW2
    Seal 5:Christians martyrs.

    -Obviously the 6Th Seal [Revelation 6:12-17] have not been opened yet-

    They were already opened so that John could... "Come and see...".

    Rev 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

    Rev 5:2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

    Rev 5:3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

    Rev 5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

    Rev 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

    Rev 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

    Rev 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

    Rev 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

    Rev 5:9  And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

    Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

    Rev 5:11  And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

    Rev 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

    Rev 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

    Rev 5:14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

    Rev 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
    Rev 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

    John saw also in the VISION the 7 trumpets events happening and the 7 Vials events happening ....And The Battle of Armageddon ...

    Obviously the Battle of Armageddon have not happened yet...

    -What John SAW in the VISION at the opening of the 7 Seals.. in the 7 trumpets and in the 7 vials.....they are the things to happen UNTIL the return of Jesus in Glory ...

    Can you tell us based on observation how many SEALS have BEEN REALLY ACTUALLY OPENED WITH THEIR PHYSICAL EFFECTS VERIFIABLE ON THE EARTH since John have written the BOOK of Revelation ?...

    I can venture to say SEAL 1 THROUGH SEAL 5 [Christians martyrs still happening today ---Wars still happening today...Famines still happening today...The Gospel conquering the world still happening today]

    No. I cannot definitely say that what John was told to... "Come and see..." has come to pass as of yet.

    I would say that most of it lies in the future, based on my current understanding.

    However, the seals were removed almost 2,000 years ago, so that John could see what would happen in the future. That was my point.

    The seals book is a summary of the Book of Revelation.

    The return of Christ is found in the vision at the end of chapter 6, with those hiding from the wrath of the Lamb. Those present would not be hiding from the wrath of the Lamb, unless the Lamb is present.
    We also find in chapter 6 a description of the events of Christ's return found in Matthew chapter 24.

    The Return of Jesus will be at the Battle of Armageddon...the armies of the World will be gathered there to fight with Him...nobody will be hiding[Revelation 19:11-21].

    That is true, they correspond to Seal 1 Through Seal 5 Revelation 6:1-11[/The Gospel preached upon all the EARTH /Wars/Famines,/Earthquakes/Christians dying Martyrs because of their testimony of Jesus/] ...but the correct wording is that these events are only the beginning of the Birth PAINS who will precede His Coming....LOT OF TIME HAVE PASSED SINCE THESE WORDS WERE WRITTEN ...AND JESUS HAVE STILL NOT RETURNED !The great worldwide earthquake of the 6 TH Seal that will move out of their places EVERY MOUNTAIN AND ISLAND have still not occurred ....The Seven trumpets not sounded...The Beast is still not in power for 42 months...The seven vials of the wrath of God have still not been poured out upon the Kingdom of the Beast.... as you can see there is lot of things yet to happen before Jesus Come in Glory for the Armageddon battle.

    It is the same group of people.

    Rev 6:15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

    Rev 19:18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

    Yep, in this case, I agree with you. The 6th seal is the end of the tribulation, Immediately after those days.

    The 6th seal "sackcloth" sun is the same thing as Matthew's "darkened" sun.

    But your posts remind me of those old hostage letters from the movies where they cut out different fonts and colors.

    It's just hard on the eyes:

    Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
    Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

    They are the same kings and captains who were there in total panic during the unexpected and terrifying events of the 6 TH Seal Revelation 6:12-17...Who will some years later be gathered with their armies for the Battle of Armageddon Revelation 16:14-16

    At the 6 TH SEAL[Revelation 6:12-17] God is seen sitting on His Throne in Heaven ...thats is not the Coming of Jesus mentioned in Matthew 24:29-31 and 2Th 1:7-10

    In Matthew 24:29-31 the Sun shall be darkened and the Moon won't give her light ...While that at the 6TH SEAL the Moon will turn RED BLOOD .

    Nope. The sun is just "darkened", not turned into darkness. This is the "sackcloth" sun that will appear immediately after the tribulation of those days.

    If I hold some coarsely woven material over the end of a flashlight, like burlap or sackcloth, the light will not be turned into darkness. It will just be shaded or merely darkened like a partial eclipse or sackcloth sun:

    [IMG]

    But if if I put my hand over the end of a flashlight and completely block it's light, that's the definition of turned into complete darkness. Like Joel 2:31:

    "The sun shall be turned into darkness,

    [IMG]

    "Blood moon" is a term for a full lunar eclipse. This only happens when the moon is full. When the "full moon will not give her light" is the same thing as a blood red moon.

    Circled on the left here is an example of Joel's sun turned into complete darkness followed by a blood moon "before".

    [IMG]

    Circled on the right is an example of the "sackcloth" or "darkened" sun followed by a blood moon where the full moon does not give her light "immediately after" the tribulation of those days..

    It's a case of:

    Before<-------AND------->After.
