In other words, Right is good and Left is bad.
Quite the substantive response, there.I can't decide if this guy is delusional or just deceitful.
I took my cue from the OP.Quite the substantive response, there.
Yep, Right ideology and practice is good and Left ideology and practice is no good! This vid is not an attack on persons, but rather an attack on ideology and practice. There is a difference.
OH? So scholarship is media dependent? No place/room for popular or informal arguments/presentations or argumentation? So why then are you on this thread? Just typing to hear the tap, tap of the keys?YouTube scholarship is the best scholarship.

If your not motivated enough to watch the vid and do your own work then certainly I would just be wasting my time doing it for you. That reminds me, the vid does mention that leftist ideology promotes the welfare state. And of course history demonstrates the resulting apathy, hopelessness and laziness that can and has induced in societies.Struck a nerve I see.
Perhaps you'd care to summarize the video in your own words or perhaps produce a few bullet points that you find compelling, you know, for those of us who don't do YouTube videos.

This video is waaaayy too U.S.-specific to belong in International Politics. He cherry-picks examples from certain other countries to make it seem like he's giving a worldwide overview, but his statements are just as often incorrect when applied on a global scale.
And then of course, there's the ridiculous bias.
The political Right and left are both like characters in The Wizard of Oz. Let me explain:
The Right - Tin Man. Doesn't have a heart
The Left - Scarecrow. Doesn't have a brain
Of course, this is oversimplified, but it sums things up.
I should also point out (for Americans reading this) that I am English. What I call left you would call Socialist. I think what you call left is classed as Centre Ground over here.
