Why would or should they have any issue with it?

Well considering the Democratic Party is factioned out between socialists, progressives, and liberals; I'd wager the liberals (and some progressives) are put off by her authoritarian nature, past track record of unjust incarcerations in California (ACAB still a thing?), and her support and cosponsoring of the Green New Deal (which is simply a trojan horse for socialism). The fact she's descended from Jamaican slave owners may put some progressives off (but I do think harping on ancestral sins is very unfair and just a ploy to silence/discredit people).

Why should they? Democrats know enough about how government works to realize that when you select a Vice President you must consider that the individual may need to take office as President. When it happens, Democrats know enough about how government works to recognize it as an orderly constitutional procedure. I'm not sure I see what you think the issue should be for Democrats.

There's a reason she only got 844 primary votes. And least we forget, she did say she believed Joe Biden was guilty of sexual assault. Guess that's water under a bridge now though.

Exactly, Those are all reasons why you think Democrats would have an issue with her.

I'd love to hear from the other side why having an authoritarian socialist as President would be good for America.

We thrived under the Kenyan socialist, so I expect we'll do great with an authoritarian socialist if it comes to that.

I don't think that's even a plausible misrepresentation of Harris, but in my opinion an authoritarian socialist would be more agreeable to me than a right-wing Christian populist.

Because after hearing how every candidate is "The most left leaning EVER IN HISTORY!!!!!!" for the past 30 years the scare words start to lose their punch. Even in this case were there is at least one instance of documented attempts to show it to be true.

Her time as a prosecutor and AG might be a little off putting for some (not for me though, I like that about her) but all of these points you bring up have to be framed in the context of what the other party is offering at the time. If it's anyone like DeSantis or another Trump you can pretty much discount all of the points you bring up. I don't see Harris as much of a socialist. In fact, I'm not even sure where you get the idea she is one at all. I assume that's coming from the talking point that calls her the "most left leaning Senator in Congress" but if you look at the make up of the Senate, that's not really saying much. To put it in context, Biden is easily the most progressive president we've had but again, that's not really saying much.

Admitting it? I'll shout if from the rooftops. The Christian Right is a greater danger to the Republic and to me personally than any Democrat they call a "socialist."

IMO FDR was more "progressive" than Biden. Harris gets the socialist label for her support of the GND and economic policing measures (policing industry is controlling it, controlling it may be understood as equivalent of "ownership") coupled with support for legalized prostitution, marijuana, supporting illegal immigration AND their ability to vote, and pushing LGBT propaganda into school systems.

AOC seems further left than Harris.

I agree. I voted for Harris in the primaries, because a "law-and-order" social liberal appeals to me as an ex-Republican.

Some of those are Libertarian ideas which have nothing to do with "socialism."

Okay. We just don't get too many people here on Christian Forums saying that they prefer an "authoritarian Socialist" regime to a Christian and populist government.

Name a country that has thrived under an authoritarian socialist. (Country has to self identify as socialist)

I'm thinking of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic, a Federal Socialist state that became authoritarian.

Name a Kenyan who has been president of the United States. The point is that these disparaging labels are ridiculous.

If being called a socialist is a disparaging label, why do they self identify as one?

Mostly those Who don't belong to the correct branch of Christianity and would rather live in a secular democratic republic with a capitalist economy and a decent social safety net (what is referred to on the Right as "authoritarian socialism.")
