Matt 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
(NOTE: Jesus sin atoning death & resurrection FULFILLED heavens law requirement for sin.)

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

1 Jn 3:4 Sin is a transgression of the Law:
Ok, we've all have broken God's law. No one can say he is not a sinner until some means is provided (not to take away the law) but to remove the sin, which is the transgression of the law. Faith placed in Jesus's sin payment & resurrection takes away/removes ALL our sin. Once our sins have been removed, there is no transgression of the law.

1 Cor 15
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
(MY NOTE: Jesus blotted out the sin ordinances for every believer invoked in Mosaic law [Deut 28] & nailed them to His cross [Col 2:14]

Jesus sin atoning payment is found in His death (sins required wage PAID), burial (proof Jesus died) & resurrection (Fathers receipt, sins payment received & accepted).

Sins payment is seized/accessed via FAITH:

Rom 5:
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Eph 2:
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

All praise, honor & glory belong to our great God & Savior, Jesus the Christ! AMEN & Amen

Matt 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
(NOTE: Jesus sin atoning death & resurrection FULFILLED heavens law requirement for sin.)

"To fulfill the law" means "to cause God's will as made known in His law to be obeyed as it should be” (NAS Greek Lexicon pleroo 2c3). Jesus said he came to fulfill the law and that proceeded to fulfill it throughout the rest of the chapter by teaching how to correctly obey it as it was originally intended, while he said nothing about his death or resurrection anywhere in that passage. So you are missing and matching passages while ignoring the immediate context of what Jesus was speaking about. The Talmud is full of discussions about how to fulfill the law in regard to correctly obeying it as it should be.

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

John 1:17 (YLT) 17 for the law through Moses was given, the grace and the truth through Jesus Christ did come;

There is no "but" in the above verse in the Greek, rather it is making to parallel statements that are two ways of saying the same thing. In John 1:16, it says grace upon grace, so it is speaking of one example of grace being added upon another. In Psalms 119:29, David wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching him to obey His law, an din Psalms 119:142, God's law is truth, so grace and truth came through Jesus because he spent his ministry fulfilling the law by teaching how to correctly obey it by word and by example.

In Titus 2:11-14, our salvation is described as being trained by grace to do what is godly, righteous, and good, and to renounce doing what is ungodly, so God graciously teaching us to obey His law is itself part of the content of His gift of salvation. Furthermore, in Titus 2:14, Jesus gave himself to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people of his own possession who are zealous for doing good works, so the way to believe in Jesus is by becoming zealous for doing good work in obedience to God's law (Acts 21:20). The reason why Jesus paid the penalty for our sin was so that we could be free to return to doing what God's law has revealed to be sin, but just the opposite.

1 Cor 15
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

In Romans 7:7, God's law is not sinful, but is how we know what sin is, however, a law that is the strength of sin is sinful, therefore 1 Corinthians 15:56 is not referring to the Law of God, but rather it is the law of sin that is the strength of sin.

Rom 5:
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

In Romans 3:31, our faith upholds God's law, so the same faith by which we are justified is also expressed as obedience to it.

Eph 2:
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

All praise, honor & glory belong to our great God & Savior, Jesus the Christ! AMEN & Amen

In Ephesians 2:10, we are new creations in Christ to do good works, so while we do not earn our salvation by our works lest anyone should boast, doing good works in obedience to it is nevertheless an integral part of our salvation. See again Titus 2:11-14.

yes "fulfill" does not mean "abolish". Someone who fulfills the speed limit requirement while driving to work does not thereby "delete the speed limit".

So then "sin IS transgression of the Law" 1 John 3:4 even in the NT.

And Christians are not supposed to "take God's name in vain" Ex 20:7 -- even to this very day.

Heres a short version of below [all in the OP]

What has been removed:
1st, ALL the believer's sins - See John 1:19 & Revelation 1:5

2ndly, by fulfilling the law's requirement for sin [He paid that part in FULL] All the sin penalties invoked [Deut 28] for breaking the law. All blotted out - Colossians 2:14 & imputed onto Him. [see Lev 4 & Rom 4]

Finally, for anyone that doesn't, by faith, access Jesus's sin atoning sacrifice. Every jot & tittle of the law will be applied to them at the White Throne judgment.

[Find these in the OP]
