Obama is only the most recent in a long tradition of American presidents being called the Antichrist.

I very much doubt that will stop, regardless of who the next president is or what political party he/she belongs to there will always be those who are convinced utterly that they are Antichrist.

If Romney had won the last election, his Mormonism would be a basis for calling him the Antichrist. The first woman elected president will almost certainly be called Antichrist--by someone--simply on the basis that she is a woman.

Such is as American as mom and apple pie.

Who said the president is the antichrist? No one. He is not smart enough or even mature enough. As someone said last night on Shawn Hannity, he's immature and petulant. I think that is a perfect description. Antichrist will be passionate about WAY more than himself.

The world is not going to end soon. No one has said that either, except the Hollywood producers who keep making movies about the end of the world. We Christians know that Jesus will come back and reign for 1000 yrs.

I don't know who Arnie and Hoff are but I do know that the antichrist will fool just about everyone so there is no sense trying to guess who he is. Well, if the shoe fits...lol. If you find yourself agreeing mostly with the majority of the crowd, what will be any different when the antichrist comes around? The majority will follow him and so we know he's going to be very charismatic.

Look at the current situation: You have a Republican Congress trying to do what the people want, which is to stop Obamacare and control the spending and the debt. You have a Democratic Senate who refuses to do what the majority of people want. They also want to protect their Democratic President and turn people against the Republicans. So they refuse to negotiate or compromise. You have a president who wants the blame to be on Republicans. Therefore, someone, we don't know who, gave the order for the shutdown of the U.S. gov't to be as difficult for people as possible. So we have elderly people being evicted from their homes which happen to be on Federal property, parks and monuments are closed, Amber Alert system has been closed down, etc. but Michelle Obama's getting fit program is on. The president refuses to negotiate with Republicans. They have passed four bills in the House to help the members of the military and to get some of the government back to work but the Democratic Senate refuses to vote on them.

So we have one side of the government trying to help the people, while the other side is trying to hurt the people. Now which side does the people blame for the mess??? The one which is trying to help them. So if it is that easy to deceive the people by working against them, how much easier will it be when the antichrist comes along to save the day? Most are going to follow like sheep, even Christians.
