Colossians 3:13 Be gentle and ready to forgive; never hold grudges. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
Forgiveness is an action that most of us struggle with. Over the next several weeks, I want to look at four facets of forgiveness, which God has been trying to make me understand over the years. They are forgiving others, forgiving us, asking God for forgiveness and accepting Gods forgiveness.
Eight years ago a business partner committed unimaginable wrongs against me. They were not only immoral but also illegal. These transgressions were crippling. I will never forget a year or so after this event when this person came to me asking for forgiveness. I am not proud of the fact that I simply said, Sorry, I cant forgive you. I am not over this yet. This past Monday morning, this person showed up at my office to ask again for forgiveness. I was surprised at how God has softened my heart over the years, and I quickly assured him that all was forgiven. I then said, just forget about it.
By Tuesday morning, my carnal self was asking, Have I really forgiven him? "Do I really want to forgive him?" Jesus words to Peter in the passage below echoed over and over again in my head. I think I understand this passage now. Forgiveness is an action that never ends. We keep forgiving seventy times seven.
Matthew 18:21-22 Then Peter came to him and asked, Sir, how often should I forgive a brother who sins against me? Seven times? No! Jesus replied, seventy times seven!"
When we truly forgive someone who has wronged us, it is one of the most freeing feelings that we can experience. Gone are our mental prisons created by harboring hard feeling

Good morning everyone!! Another day to learn about God's forgiveness of our sins and how we are to forgive others.
If you're down today, remember a time God blessed you in an incredible way.. how you never say it coming and place that in your heart. Today, I'm sure He can do the same thing... put your faith in Him.

Amen dear sister....you are such a blessing.Morning everyone
As you go about your day, do it with the knowledge that you are not alone. One walks beside you and puts out a loving hand to steady you if you stumble, lifts your burdens when you ask Him too, gives you strength for each new challenge, and loves you more than you could ever comprehend. His name is Jesus, you are never alone or forsaken but rather cherished and lavished with blessings that you can't even see. Have a blessed day.
Great Devotional Dear Sister In Christ, Love you very much Tatiana

Thoughts I've Shared Since Jan 1
The best thing about a new year, is the old one is gone never be thought of again, except in lessons learned.
Dust off your feet, leave the past where it belongs and move on in God in a great new day.
Give the Glory to God for forgiving and accepting forgiveness, and go further by not dwelling in it
What an awesome God we serve!

Tati...when I read this I gasped at first...you know how this affected me I am sure.
I understand this completely and have done the same in the other situaton I am facing now.
Thank you for this post.
Love you dear sister.
Gabby greets her sister Tammy with open arms and embraces her with tears in her eyes. Good to see you dear sister.
I hope you will join me again and share your thoughts on forgiveness and prayer.
I offer you the kiss of peace...Gabby kisses both her cheeks.
Forgiveness heals hearts, and a great Amen to that.
Well I thank you for that. Interesting thing God showed me with that situation....even Judas Isacariot had purpose in Gods plan, I see that what happened was Gods plan to move me somewhere else and there is much happening with that so........I chose to completely be forgiving and look forward to another new life to begin in September, maybe July or August.I found it and I said yes, God wants my Sister to read this. I thought it was very appropriate for what you are going through in your real life. Amazing how God guides us.
As I would say I'm so faklempt...Tati feels fuzzy and warm at the great sign of peace and friendship in this room.
Amen.

~Something I think will touch our hearts~
God Has Not Forgotten You
God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
~1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV
The world is full of people struggling with trials and temptations and looking for a way out. If you have ever felt pressed on every side and couldn't find an escape, or confused and didn't know what to do, you know what a desperate and lonely feeling that can be.
The Word tells you God is faithful and He will provide a way for you, but He doesn't always show us the way immediately. That is when you must wait... and trust.
Waiting on God purifies your faith and builds character in you. You may not like waiting, but God's way is perfect! So be assured God has not forgotten you. Trust Him, and in His time He will reveal His perfect plan for you. While you're waiting, don't forget to enjoy your life.
