• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Interesting that because of vaccines there was no measles in the US in 2000. But because of people not taking the measles vaccine there are current 218 cases in the US and it can spread very fast.
Before the vaccine 500 people, mostly kids, died each year.
So I'm for vaccine!

i used to work in the dung industry (pharmacy). they lie all the time. not some of the time, all the time.
i didn't know for years after i escaped them that the bible says so also. (look it up if you want to know yourself).

don't worry about 'citations' (that's like asking the fox to guarantee it won't eat the chickens).

Yhvh's Word warns about the specialists, the scholars, the pernicious ones, and so on. Go by what Yhvh's Word says, not by what american government nor so-called 'scholarship' says - men are wrong. Yhvh is right.

Read everything you can find , (there's more than enough to prove the pharmacy is wrong, if you look into it prayerfully and/or honestly).

Remember, Yhvh's Word, Scripture, says NOT TO TRUST MEN, that includes NOT trusting the government. OBEY the government, but never trust them!

People who believe the world won't be convinced no matter how much proof they have that the world lies.
Don't worry about them - and don't trust the world. Simple. Listen to Scripture.

Activist Post: The incredible shrinking flu hoax

“For protection on Halloween night, you must rub two grasshoppers together, if you see a cat crossing the road holding a Louis Vuitton monogrammed handbag—which, as everyone knows, is a sure sign of imminent danger. The protection-ritual called vaccination makes about as much sense, except there you have doctors, nurses, and drugstore loiterers injecting toxic chemicals, heavy metals, and multiple germs directly into the body.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

I’ve posted these facts before. But this time, I’ll take them even further down the rabbit hole, to their logical and shocking conclusion.

The “flu season” is upon us, and the Centers for Disease Control urges all parents to act like good little robots and have the whole family jabbed with flu shots.

The usual warnings and predictions are trumpeted by the CDC and their compliant media connections.

The one persistent “fact” that is shoved across is: every year in the US, 36,000 people die of the flu. We’ve all read and heard that figure, over and over.

When I was 20 years old, I was working as a certified pharmacy technician. I was very healthy, athletic and active. I looked forward to my future. Gardasil was approved by the FDA in June of 2006. That December, one week before my 21st birthday, I received my first of three injections. I have not been the same person since then. My first symptoms were fatigue, dizziness, and chest pains. One month after the first dose - See more at: Natural Health News and Wellness Tips: What Gardasil Did to Me: Pacemaker at Age 21

Vaccines Cause Cancer, Autism & Other Deadly Diseases

“I have no hesitation in stating that in my judgment the most frequent disposing condition for cancerous development is infused into the blood by vaccination and re-vaccination.”

I have only had one vaccine or two (cant remember at this time, my Mum would know more) but I was vaccine damaged, you know the arched back kind of thing. But if I had to be vaccinated, I would not want dead human cells in it. Thats just my opinion mind you.

The Ugly Truth About Vaccines Is Coming To Light In New Developments

An absolute must read from Collective Evolution (source): Modern medicine and the world community currently find themselves at a moral, ethical and legal crossroads. The recent public admittance of Dr. William Thompson as well as other information being forced to the surface has brought to light very ugly truths that will never go away or be ignored.

Vaccines don't "cause" any form of autism. People like myself are born with it, we can't just acquire it from random chemicals. The one study that seemed to indicate that vaccines "cause autism" was debunked and discovered to be fraudulent. And I would never take a cure if it meant aborting millions of babies. Why should millions die so that my life becomes slightly less inconvenient? And what if so many of those children ended up being autistic?

You are correct. Vaccines don't cause autism. Autism is, first, hereditary (even valuable in its mild form). Typically, autism increases one's sensitivities and allergies. That is what makes us more susceptible to vaccine injuries, particularly to the modern MMR. It is that injury model that is, more and more, appearing to account for the epidemic loss of cognitive function that we wrestle with today.

Aspergers/mild autism is not a problem; it's neurodiversity. A 27yo man with a mental age of 6-10yo and a 20yo woman with a m.a. of 18 mos. IS a problem. An epidemic of such, even more so.

When many of these people are talking about an "autism epidemic," they are referring to the more severe, low-functioning autism. I am an Aspie with two such children. Aspie-level functioning would be an acceptable improvement, if brain injury is preventable.

[For those who haven't read my previous posts on this matter, I not against the vaccine method of medicine (a.k.a. anti-vax). I just believe that each vaccine (like every other form of medicine) should be judged according to its own merits.]

Too many people, for lack of a basic science education, fall down the pseudo-scientific hole especially if they read or hear Bio-Techno-Meta Physical babbling. Because of this missing education too many base their "scientific opinions" upon their experience allowing their feeling and emotions to take precedence. For example electromagnetic waves, radio waves, aren't tangible to the human experience (Taste, touch, smell, see, or feel) the general population tends to fear these "waves" as the cause of illness. If this is the case then why do those who've worked in the field of applied electromagnetics do not have a higher incident of compromised health?

Be Leary of the one who constantly quotes from only one source of information assuming that this single source is accurate because it resonates (there's one of those pseudo scientific terms) with their internal emotional locus.

Humans also tend to have a historical frame of reference that runs the length of their life time memory. Since many diseases such as mumps, measles, and Rubella are not it the headlines they assume its not problem. We've had 2 to 3 generation now without many of these devastating diseases so our frame of reference is clouded.

The rise of Autism Spectrum is related to a broader diagnostic criteria, casting a wider net, than an actual rise in the number of cases. Using the diagnostic criteria from 30 years ago, this fact will prove itself.

My concern is that until there is a serious outbreak of a vaccine preventable disease, the general population won't fully appreciate the benefits of vaccinations.

I'm a Biomedical Engineer, my academic background includes training in Physics and Electrical Engineering. My post graduate training is in Biomedical Engineering. Along with nine years in direct clinical research, I'm also an uncle to two beautiful Autistic kids.

I'm so sorry about your children, I hope you're able to care for them well :(

What about Asperger's? Is that hereditary, and if so to what extent? You have 10 kids, correct? And only half of them have some form of an ASD?

That is still being hammered out, but suspected cases of Aspergers are seen with regularity throughout history in famous and infamous examples. It is the formal diagnosis of anyone previously thought to be a "geek" or a "nerd."

It is the unmistakable* rise in Kanner's Syndrome autism that is unprecedented and particularly worrisome. Further, these new cases frequently have paternal family histories of Aspergers and/or giftedness, both of which are known to exhibit heightened allergic responses.

Anybody who claims that the increase in ASD diagnoses is due to the "casting of a wider net," is, at worst, diversionary or, at best, willfully ignorant. Ignore the Aspergerians (concerning vaccines). Watch the Kannerians.

*Even if diagnosed differently, Kannerians would have still had a family history of institutionalization, which they don't. They are new.

I'm more concerned with having Aspie children not because of vaccines (I guess I could get their brains scanned to see if they have autism shortly after birth and before vaccines), but simply that I don't want their lives as unbearable as mine. I know at my age I should not be concerned about having children just yet, but I really would like for them to have the opportunities that I didn't have growing up, or didn't take advantage of. I don't want them to go through high school lonely and depressed like I did (partially, it wasn't all bad but my memories of that time period are a bit nuanced) or feel like they need hand-outs and pity. Maybe they won't recognize as easily as I did that they're sinners, or they'll blame God for every failed social encounter.

And Kanner's Syndrome is low-functioning autism, right?

Ok. Now that I didnt know at all Sabertooth about Kanners Syndrome. I know no one with it but I know 2 men with Aspergers Syndrome. With these 2 men, each is entirely different from the other. One studies up History and is part of the 'Friday Group' which both men and I founded. He alone is different from the rest and I knew he either had Autism or Aspergers Syndrome due to the fact he was in a 'Autism / Aspergers Syndrome Group' in my area which unfortunately closed down so I started Fridays Group. The other man, well he alone has a bus drivers license, a taxi drivers license and a car license. He is part of the Friday group but he was not part of the 'Autism / Aspergers Syndrome Group' therefore I thought he was normal when he isnt, he has the same thing as me. I heard about that 'Autism / Aspergers Syndrome Group' through a friend who has Autism. As I said, each man is different but what I didnt say is simple, the first one asks me for advice on relationships like 'Is cheating on others acceptable in a relationship' as he asks that kind of questions. The second man, well, he doesnt ask me those questions but he is in a relationship with me. I have been in a relationship with him for 10 weeks too and quite a nice relationship / friendship it has been. I can go on about the second man but I wont.

Ive shown one of them this thread, the other I will show them it later. To me, Im not against vaccines at all I think, I just know people who have been affected by it or such Sabertooth. I dont know what caused my 'Arched back' reaction but still, it doesnt really matter as such. All I know is Aspergers Syndrome has not changed my life but my attitude to life has made me see that people with wheelchairs or physical disabilites are treated differently as such than those with mental disabilities. I just know they are the same as any of us, even if they have a mental or a physical disability.

Odd question here grandvisier1006 but I will put it into a situation for you ... Lets say one of these guys, most particularly my boyfriend, is a baby and they had a brain scan after they were born. Thats the scenario but heres the question I wonder, how could that brain scan on his head pick up Aspergers Syndrome and / or Autism? If anyone can answer this question, Id like to know the answer.
