The important isn’t what people says about you, but why do they speak such things:

• “All our enemies have opened their mouths against us. Fear and a pit have come to us, shame and ruin.” (Lamentations 3.46,47).

Are you being disdained and scorned? Instead of getting angry at who are uttering scurrilous things against you, work up to knowing Jesus better, as well as to know what He has for you. After all, the Creator endured with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction because He wishes to show His wrath and to make His power known (Romans 9.22). Not to mention that, the more the sin abound, the much more the grace abound (Romans 5.20).

Instead of dallying mulling over your loss, work up your communion with Jesus. Can you sure that His purveyance to you is bigger than you can fancy:

• “Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3.20).
• “But as it is written, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard," nor has it entered into the heart of man, "the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." (1Corinthians 2.9).

So, throw away all grudge, hatred, dolefulness, dejection so that you can make room in your life to what Jesus wish to vouchsafe to you and to do through you:

• To manifest His lovely presence that is powerful to oust every *fear* (1John 4.18);
• To do to fall down into the *pit* who digged it (Psalms 7.15; 9.15; 57.6; 94.13);
• To broke every *snare* of Ha-Satan that holds you and to do you fly above what you looked on something unsurmountable (Isaiah 40.31; Habakkuk 3.19);
• To do you to fructify and multiply and fill the earth with the glory of Jesus (ver Genesis 1.28; Isaiah 11.9; Habakkuk 2.14), which certainly will make your *shame* into exaltation. Not to mention that He desire to get you free from the sin, which is the veritable *shame* of the nations (Proverbs 14.34).
• To vouchsafe to you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the mantle of praise for the spirit of heaviness; so that you might be called trees of righteousness, able to raise up the *ruins* of former times, repair the waste cities and the *ruins* of many generations (Isaish 61.3,4).

Finally, if someone derogates you, trying to work your angry up, calm down and analize their libels, breaking them down:

• If what they aver against you is truth, glorify Jesus, for this is an opportunity for you to redress your mistakes and get your soul clean (see Isaiah 1.18);
• If what they avouch against you is lie, certainly the Creator will be on your side such as He did for Moses, Joshua or Caleb (He will defend you – for instance, Numbers 14.10; 16.41-45).

Abridging: make amends with Jesus and focus only on hearing His voice, and certainly your weekend will be splendorous, inasmuch as only He IS, that is, only His voice and word define the reality around you (Exodus 3.14).
