This particular Mystery is not mentioned word-for-word in the Scriptures, but instead, is supported through long-standing Tradition and faith . Originally, the rosary was called "The Psalter of Jesus and Mary" because it consists of the prayer Jesus gave us (The Our Father) and the prayer the Angel Gabriel gave us (The Hail Mary).
