In the last 50 years, all the civilized world has begun to blend. The national economies are fast becoming an archaic, cumbersome way of business. The advent of computerization is helping develop what planners see as a new economic order where all national economies will run the same way - by electronic fund transfer. Cash, checking, and cards have always been a big source of fast growing crime. But today it is possible to take all the information on a card and place it in a microchip and place it into the flesh of our hand or, for a handless person, into the forehead.
This kind of fund transfer will make it impossible to counterfeit using someone else's ID. You can't steal someone's arm or head. This was the concept in the '60s, before scanning at the checkout even started. In the Sept. 1973 issue of Senior Scholastic it said:
In the program, people would receive a number that has been assigned them, tattooed in their wrist or forehead ... all items of consumer goods will be marked with a computer mark ... The computer outlet in the store which picks up the number on the items at the check stand will also pick up the number in the person's body and automatically total the price and deduct the amount from the person's account.
So How Is That Working Out?
The "computer mark" on all consumer goods has been put into effect. This is the bar code on everything we buy. The out-of-control identity theft problem of our time is making it pressing to put the other half of the plan into effect as well.
Did the Bible prophesy all this to happen as many claim? It predicts that in the last part of this age we are in, the Church Age, there will be an all powerful world leader called the beast. Of this man, the Bible made this prediction:
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free or bond, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell save he that had the mark Revelation 13:17
The mark on all consumer goods is where each digit of it's number is represented by a combination of bars of various widths with the number printed below. If you look at the standard form of the code, you see that you have two sets of numbers split in the middle. The number six in the product information half is the two thinnest lines set close together. All these marks have three of this number - at the beginning, in the middle dividing the two sets of numbers, and at the end. The scanning format is 6-6-6.
Did the Bible prophesy this to happen? It said:
...and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred three score and six. Revelation 13:17
So the number associated with the mark is indeed 666. There are many uses of this number amongst the globalists. Could that all be just a coincidence? Does the Bible make other prophesies like this? The Bible, in fact, has about 2000 prophesies, many about events that have already happened but were predicted in detail hundreds of years beforehand. And there are a great many being fulfilled in our time.
Another Amazing Prediction
As just one more example of the prophesies that have been fulfilled in our day, the Bible predicted that God's chosen nation of Israel, God's means of dealing with us during the Old Testament age, would be disbanded and scattered. And at the start of the age we are in now, the Church Age, where the church, not Israel, is God's means of dealing with mankind via the New Testament, this scattering of Israel did indeed take place as the Roman army demolished Israel in 70 A.D. scattering the Jews to every other country.
The Bible predicts that Israel would stay that way until the very last part of our Church Age. But then Israel is predicted to become a nation again, and would be a "burdensome stone" (Zechariah 12:3) to all the other nations and would "fill all the world with fruit":
I will surely save you out of a distant place, your descendants from the land of their exile. Jacob will again have peace and security ... Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. Jeremiah 30:1-11
In the days to come, Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and will fill all the world with fruit. Isaiah 27:6
What happened? Their homeland was a desert for over 1800 years. Then, in 1948, the nation of Israel was rebuilt in it's original location speaking their original tongue - the only nation in history to ever do this. If you were to take a poll at the U.N. asking what nation today was their most burdensome stone, Israel would be at or near the top of their list. As for "filling the world with fruit" they have turned the desert into an orchard and are one of the world's top exporters of citrus. You have probably bought some of their Joppa oranges at the store. Our growers go to Israel to be tutored by Israeli technology.
What Is The Significance Of All This Prophesy?
It is significant because the Bible makes a prediction that concerns us personally. It says:
It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment Hebrews 9:27
Jesus said many things about this judgment including:
... depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the Devil and his angels ... these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Matthew 25: 41,46
Many religions don't believe in an actual hell, but they ignore the plain statements of the Bible. If there really is a God who banishes souls to eternal punishment, but welcomes some souls to Heaven, it might behoove us to find out what he says about receiving eternal life. The Bible says the vast majority of us never find out:
strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:14
The Narrow Way
Why do so few find it? That is because the vast majority of people who seek God's way fall victim to all of the Devil's religions. Jehovah's Witnesses, the Mormons, Christian Science, the Catholics, and the eastern religions of the Muslims, Hindus, and others all have one Satanic theme running through all of them. This is the theme that you must gradually improve and enlighten yourself to achieve their versions of Heaven. But the fact is that all the founders of these belief systems are all still in their graves. You can go to visit them as many of the eastern faiths do religiously. There is only one way to conquer death where the founder cannot be found in his grave today, and that is the Way given by the Jesus of the Bible. The resurrection of Jesus from the dead was witnessed by so many that it was not even debated for over 200 years after the fact.
I would like to explain to you how the Bible says you can receive eternal life in his predicted judgment, but only the Holy Spirit can tell you that you ought to. This convicting of the Holy Spirit is the only way one can go to Heaven:
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him. John 6:44. But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them. I Corinthians 2:14
The most common approach toward getting to Heaven is just living as righteously as you can and hoping God will favor you on judgment day. They think that if they do more good things than bad, they have a shot. To that, God says:
There is none righteous, no, not one ... For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Ye have heard it said ... thou shalt not kill, and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment. But I say unto you that whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause ... shall be in danger of hellfire. Whosoever looketh on a woman to lust ... hath committed adultery. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body be cast into Hell. Romans 3:23 Matthew 5:21,28,29
Jesus isn't really saying to cut away a member of our body if it sins. He is saying it is futile for us to get to Heaven based on how good we are. According to the Bible, if there was ever a man who lived his entire life without ever telling a lie, without a single swear word, with every spare moment spent helping others and serving God, with only a single lustful glance at a woman, that man's life will deserve eternal torment in the same place with Adolf Hitler. Yet people put their faith into their good deeds. It won't work.
What Other Way Is There Besides being Good (Western Religions) Or Being Enlightened (Eastern Religions) ?
This intolerance may seem cruel for a God that is supposed to be loving, but he says:
I am holy and just and righteous. I am of purer eyes than to behold evil. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. Habakuk 1:13, Ezekiel 18:4
Sin is the barrier between us and God. But he wants to give us a supernatural love, joy, and peace in this life, and eternal life with him after death. The deal he offers us is what the Bible calls the gospel, a word that means "the good news". The good news is that, while we have to pay the price for sin in this life, we do not have to pay God's ultimate payment for sin.
On your bills, you often see a due payment called a "remittance" or you see a demand for "remission" of your debt. The Bible states that, in God's system, death is the remittance for any sin, great or small:
Without the shedding of blood, their is no remission of sins. Hebrews 9:27
The only way you can have your debt paid for you is if someone who has no debt offers his life as a ransom for you. Therein lies the significance of the crucifixion of Jesus. The Bible, and Jesus himself, claims that he was God who became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:1,14). He was sinless and did not have to suffer death, but voluntarily offered to pay this remittance for each of us. His mission was:
To minister and to give his life a ransom for many ... This is my blood of the new testament which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 20:28, 26:28
Just before he died on the cross, he said "It is finished". The word translated "finished" was an old Greek bookkeeping term meaning "paid in full". What he asks of us in return is simply to believe this and make him the Lord of our life:
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God ... For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. I Peter 3:18 John 3:16
In the Bible, it says we can be "heirs with Christ" meaning we can have victory over the grave as he had:
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall also be in the likeness of his resurrection. Romans 6:8
Receiving God's Gift
The first step in receiving the gift offered in the gospel is repentance from sin, a permanent turn to Jesus as Lord:
Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ ... The Lord is not slack concerning his promise ... but is long suffering to us-ward , not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Acts 20:21 II Peter 3:9
The false religions teach that we go to heaven by faith in some vague, uncertain, lifelong process. But the Bible says we go to Heaven not by a process but an event. The event is simply that time when one is exposed to the gospel, believes, repents, and invites Jesus in as Lord. Jesus compared it to our physical birth:
I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to Spirit. You should not be surprised by my saying "You must be born again". John 3:5
No wonder then that all the false religions have two basic messages from Satan:
1. Jesus was not quite God
2. Don't trust in the ransom given to you from Jesus to get you to Heaven - work for it in a process
The trend toward bad doctrine at the end of this age is another prophesy:
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine ... and they shall turn away their ears from the truth. II Timothy 4:3
It's not complicated. The "sound doctrine" simply says we can, with a child-like faith, solve the eternal mysteries. American figures show that nearly 90% of Christians are converted by age 14. Jesus said:
Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3
