  2. I just wanted to share something my fiance' came up with. She is a jewelry designer and has a shop with her daughter. They asked if I had an outlet for some of their items and I told them I would share it with everyone here at CF. So I started them an Etsy Shop account to showcase what they have done. And this is the first items! Check it out and let me know what you think!

    Thanks so much! - Rex

Modern Orthodox Jews will tell you, "Of course we know what day that is; it's marked on our calendar." It was not always this way.

"Originally the New Moon (for the Feast of Trumpets) was not fixed by astronomical calculations, but was solemnly proclaimed after witnesses had testified to the reappearance of the crescent of the moon.

On the 30th of each month, the members of the High Court assembled in a courtyard in Jerusalem, named Beit Ya'azek, where they waited to receive the testimony of two reliable witnesses; they then sanctified the New Moon. If the moon's crescent was not seen on the 30th day, the New Moon was automatically celebrated on the 31st day.

This, therefore, is a festival that, "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
    The Meaning of Rosh Hashanah

The Feast of Trumpets is the only Jewish Holiday that is celebrated on the first day of the lunar month (new moon).

Actually, this is not true. Enoch gave God's calendar for calculation of the year, and the new moons, and exact dates of them.

The Book of Enoch is not necessarily canon, as I have already pointed out.

You're talkng politics. Canon means list, only, and does not mean "inspired'. Lists differ among professing Christians worldwide and lists have changed in Churches worldwide, over time.
    Its all politics.
Enoch was read and called Scripture/holy and inspired, by Jews and Christians before there were "lists" made for political power grabs.
Enoch was concidered Scripture by the sons of Zadok -the Essenes- of the Qumran manuscripts. Barnabas called it Scripture, and Jesus called it Scripture, also, when He rebuked the Sadducees, on not knowing doctrine of Scripture about the unmarried state of the resurrected believers, who will be like the angels in heaven who do not marry nor give in marraige, as Enoch revealed to us, directly quoting God the Great Glory, in his revelation.

So, what about the year? If the ENPI is the 70th Seven, that would place Christ's return sometime between Sept. 5-7, 2013.

We are living in interesting times; too bad most Christians will not live to see His coming. Woe to those who get chipped!
