Jeremiah 18:
5
Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
6 O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter? says the Lord.
Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!
7 The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom,
to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it,
8 if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the
disaster that I thought to bring upon it.
9 And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build
and to plant it,
10 if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent
concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it.

The eyes of the Lord are upon the nation He has blessed, expecting to find faithfulness
and the Spirit of Thanksgiving. The saints who belong to the Lord, a righteous remnant,
must continue in well doing regardless of the direction a nation moves.

1 Peter 3:
8
Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another;
love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous;
9 not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing,
knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.
10 For He who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue
from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.
11 Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.

Philippians 3:
18
For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping,
that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame;
who set their mind on earthly things.
20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body,
according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Hi Minister Monardo,

This came to my mind after reading your post
1 Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: 2 for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.

Ezekiel 18:
24
“But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness
which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty
and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die.
25 “Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ Hear now, O house of Israel, is it not My way
which is fair, and your ways which are not fair?
26 When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it,
it is because of the iniquity which he has done that he dies.
27 Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does
what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive.
28 Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he committed,
he shall surely live; he shall not die.
29 Yet the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ O house of Israel,
is it not My ways which are fair, and your ways which are not fair?
