Every Old Testament book point toward the Great Sacrifice that was to come.

Jesus’ sacrificial giving of His own life/blood on every believer's behalf.

Lev 17:11 is the Old Testament’s central statement about the significance of blood in the sacrificial system. God, speaking to Moses, declares: “For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.”

Heb 9:11-18 confirms the symbolism of blood as life & applies Lev 17:11 to the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. Verse 12 states clearly that the Old Testament blood sacrifices were temporary and only atoned for sin partially & for a short time, hence the need to repeat the sacrifices daily/yearly.

Matt 26: Jesus said, this is my "blood" of the "New Testament", which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Also see Jn 6:56 & 19:34)

Act 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Spirit hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which Jesus hath purchased with his own blood.

Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Col 1:20: "and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross."

Heb 9:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.

Post resurrection Christ entered the Most Holy Place (Heb 9:11-12). And offered His own sinless God blood once for all time (Heb 7:27; 10:10). Making future sacrifices unnecessary. This is what Jesus meant by His dying words on the cross: “It is finished” (Jn 19:30).

Never again would the blood of bulls and goats cleanse men from their sin. Only by accepting Jesus’ sinless God blood shed on the cross for the remission of sins, can we stand before God covered/clothed in the righteousness of Christ (2 Cor 5:21).

Jesus Paid for All Sins. You access His payment by faith (Rom 5:1-2). Confess he is Lord/God & died for your sins & believe in your heart He was resurrected (Rom 10:9). ASK HIM to place His guiding, salvation sealing, Holy Spirit (2 Cor 1:22, 2 Tim 1:14, 2 Cor 5:5) into your heart. Amen

Heb 9:
6 Now when these things have been so prepared, the priests are continually entering the outer tabernacle, performing the divine worship, 7 but into the second, only the high priest enters once a year, not without taking blood which he offers for himself and for the sins of the people committed in ignorance. 8 The Holy Spirit is signifying this, that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed while the outer tabernacle is still standing, 9 which is a symbol for the present time. Accordingly both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make the worshiper perfect in conscience

11 But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things having come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made by hands, that is, not of this creation; 12 and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all time, having obtained eternal redemption

23 Therefore it was necessary for the copies of the things in the heavens to be cleansed with these things, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ did not enter a holy place made by hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; 25 nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Holy Place year by year with blood that is not his own. 26 Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often

Christ's ministry began in the Holy Place in heaven after having completed the inauguration for ministry of that temple. It is a two phase ministry is clearly specified by God in the sanctuary service.

Christ began His ministry at the right hand of the Father in the Holy Place in heaven as our high priest (Heb 8:1-4) and as Heb 9 states -- this was in the Holy Place. The second phase of that ministry would begin at a later date. Jesus is now in that second-phase ministry in the Most Holy Place.
