I agree the debate fix is in for Trump, as it is for any Republican. The overwhelming majority of the media votes for Democrats. To think they will be fair in a debate when they're clearly voting for one party over the other is ridiculous.

The GOP should refuse to participate in the Presidential Debate Commission. Instead, the two campaigns should negotiate how a debate might work. My proposal is for the two candidates to agree to a 2 hour debate with 5 pre-determined topics each of which will last 25 minutes. Both candidates can have a 3 minute opening and closing, with back each candidates getting 2 minutes to respond back and forth. The moderator exists only to keep time, beginning a candidates time and ending it. No questions from the moderator.

Obviously you can divide up time however you want and major issues will be different for each election, though one imagines the economy will always be a significant issue. The point here is to get debates out of the hands of the media and return to a true debate format, with time controlled back and forth between the candidates. Let the candidates say whatever they want and respond as they see fit.

The Presidential debate moderators are notorious for their partisanship against the GOP.

Remember, Hillary was even given the debate questions by one of the moderators which was discovered once their e-mails had been hacked.

Exposed: Antonia Hernandez, the Democrats' Soros-Connected Debate Commissioner

Antonia Hernandez, a board member for the Commission on Presidential Debates, has connections to both the Chinese Communist Party and a George Soros-funded group, according to a report released last week by the National Pulse.

Hernandez is also a lawyer and longtime Democratic activist, who once served on the campaign for Ted Kennedy’s failed 1980 presidential bid.

Hernandez’s position on the Board of Directors of the commission, which has selected a slew of anti-Trump moderators and pushed a debate via Zoom, is curious in light of her ties to the Biden-backing Chinese Communist Party and the Soros-backed Transition Integrity Project which calls for “street fights” to secure a Biden victory.

The highly partisan Transition Integrity Project was first exposed by The National Pulse in early August, after repeatedly making the false claim of non-partisanship, unchallenged by establishment media.

Hernandez’s biography page on the Berggruen Institute site list her as part of the “Berggruen network,” a network which also lists five fellows at Chinese Communist Party-funded universities and two members of the pro-China lobby group and Confucius Institute-sponsoring Asia Society.

Truly. Trump's advisers had also coached him well to appear not as combative and to let Joe talk. There were two points that really showed this. Trump actually said to Kristen Welker that she was doing a good job at one point. At another point, Biden asked for a rebuttal. Welker said that they had to move on and Biden began talking anyway. Trump looked at the moderator and said, "Go ahead." How different is that from the first debate?
