Yet another simple question. Scripture says many wonders happen to make people follow the AC. What does scripture say is the one greatest wonder that makes people worship the AC as God?

    2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

God will allow this Antichrist to perform wonders such as rising from the dead as those still on the post-rapture earth have already chosen sin as their god. Because of this he will let their eyes slowly be open to how the embodiment of sin itself completely destroys civilization behind a veil of sweet talk so they might finally see the disastrous consequences of the forbidden fruit and have one last chance to be redeemed. If they have to be fully submitted in the lie for a time to have a chance of seeing the truth then that's what God will let happen.

That's my interpretation though; I could be wrong.

The current hotbed Of antichrist evangelization is in radical Islam.

What wonders are Al Qeda and ISIS doing? But if the mystical sect of Sufi Islam gets radicalized, they may just start doing supernatural signs.

The deception concerns moral truth. The human will is directed toward the good. This means it will choose good as it is informed of the good by the intellect. When someone has decided to carry out a suicide their intellect has informed the will that the act is good. Evil is perceived as good and good evil when that happens. That describes an interior process. This process expands to the exterior when the intellect is informed by an accepted moral authority. Becoming the moral authority accepted by mankind is Satan's goal. The deception will usurp the natural and divine authority and replace it with Satan's to direct the will to another good that is not of God. The deception will cause the whole world to perceive evil as good and good evil. We see this process happening in western societies today. Western culture is currently in a battle for the human conscience. The battleground is the interior sanctuary of conscience where God speaks to man. Antichrist wants to sit on that interior throne of conscience, and will, long before his religion becomes visible and his children are able to organize.

Antichrist only appears in the Gospels of John. This is the description.
Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.

As far as those who perform wonders in the name of Christ, they are false prophets, preachers, teachers etc.
    Matthew 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

I study semantics, particularly when applied for deceptive purposes. Deception is always fundamentally about making what is good appear as bad.

We all determine right from wrong according to an imagery of God. That is to say, that Who we think He is and how He judges will determine our own judgment of what is right and wrong.

So to deceive people, a false imagery of God would have to be presented through subtlety. The world is currently under a false god, and this is why the Christ Jesus is the True Image of God sent by God in the form of the Gospel, so as to believe in and be saved.

satans' MO is counterfeiting the word of God ... and often accomplishes this through very very deceptive means. That is .... very minor deceptions and also using these lies and deceptions distorting the Word of God.

With that being said, satan will mimic or counterfeit the 2nd coming of Jesus (in the form of a man) to very high and varying degrees (he's already is and has been doing this for quite some time, ie false prophets and false teachings.

"rising from the dead" - satan does not have the capability of doing this, only God does ... however he (satan) and his minions do have the ability to "appear" as "friendly" spirits and/or as familiar spirits (strong illusions). People believing they have some sort of immortality ... that is their "soul" or any part of them going somewhere/anywhere other than resting in the grave until the return of Jesus will be deceived.

It is important people understand the truth about the state of the dead. Knowing this truth protects a person from these strong delusions .... keeps people from searching out and/or believing in "appearances", people who claim they can speak with the dead ... etc. If one experiences such they know it is from a demonic power and not from God.

The dead do not become immortal (or anyone) in any way until the 1st resurrection when Jesus returns.

    State of the Dead

    Ecclesiastes 9

5For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing.

    Psalm 90:3-6

You turn man back into dust And say, "Return, O children of men." For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it passes by, Or as a watch in the night. You have swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep; In the morning they are like grass which sprouts anew.

    Job 7:21

"Why then do You not pardon my transgression And take away my iniquity? For now I will lie down in the dust; And You will seek me, but I will not be."

    Job 14:10-12

"But man dies and lies prostrate Man expires, and where is he? "As water evaporates from the sea, And a river becomes parched and dried up, So man lies down and does not rise. Until the heavens are no longer, He will not awake nor be aroused out of his sleep.

    Psalm 13:3

Consider and answer me, O LORD my God; Enlighten my eyes, or I will sleep the sleep of death,

    Daniel 12:2

"Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.

And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, "Write, 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!'" "Yes," says the Spirit, "so that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow with them."

    John 11:11-14

This He said, and after that He said to them, "Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I go, so that I may awaken him out of sleep." The disciples then said to Him, "Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover." Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that He was speaking of literal sleep.

    Acts 7:60

Then falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them!" Having said this, he fell asleep.

    1 Corinthians 15:6

    After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep;

    John 5:28-29

"Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.

    Job 14:13-15

"Oh that You would hide me in Sheol, That You would conceal me until Your wrath returns to You, That You would set a limit for me and remember me! "If a man dies, will he live again? 1 Corinthians 15:20

But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.

    1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.

I'm thinking right around Rev 13:12-15, where the image of the beast appears to come alive; thus Satan counterfeiting Christ's resurrection.

    Hi Eleos

I agree with what you have said. But that is not what we see in scripture as the great wonder.

The only place in Scripture where the words, "Great Wonder" appear together is in Rev 12:1, speaking of the birth of Christ. So, obviously, that doesn't answer your question.
