Hamas militants killed at least 25 Gazan civilians suspected of collaborating with Israel, World Net Daily reported, citing sources close to Hamas and the Islamic Jihad groups.

The sources told WND.com that most of the extra-judicial killings of suspected collaborators took place during a brief “humanitarian” cease-fire last Thursday. Hamas blamed the killings on Israel saying they took place four days earlier, in Shuja’iya, on Gaza’s northern border with Israel.

The murdered Gazans were accused of leading Israeli troops to smuggling tunnels and providing intelligence on Hamas’ infrastructure inside Gazan cities, according to the sources.

According to WND, the sources also said “the civilian suspects murdered by Hamas were publicly celebrated by Hamas as martyrs killed by the Jewish state.”

The Israel Defense Forces described the residential neighborhood of Shuja’iya, a mile from the Israeli border, as a “fortress for its weapons,”publishing declassified aerial photos showing how rockets were hidden in mosques, hospitals, playgrounds and cemeteries, as well as a cut-through diagram showing how a mosque and two adjacent buildings, connected by tunnels that extend to the Israeli border, was used as a depot for Hamas rockets.

The IDF said that, as well as the proximity to the Israeli border, the density of tunnels and weapons is due to Shuja’iya also being a battleground between Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, with their internal turmoil in Gaza brewing since 2007.

“Both terrorist organizations have spent the past seven years actively trying to increase their influence in the neighborhood,” the IDF said. “The rivalry has created an arena in which each organization strives to be regarded as the leaders in the fight against Israel. This has resulted in the neighborhood’s deterioration from a civilian residential area into a terrorist fortress.”

The IDF said it had warned civilians in Shuja’iya to evacuate, by “dropping leaflets, making phone calls and sending text messages,” although many ignored Israel’s warnings after Hamas instructed them to stay put.
Israel lost 13 soldiers in Shuja’iya. Hamas claimed 66 Gazans died, but according to WND’s sources 25 of the dead were Gazans who killed by Hamas for collaborating with Israel.

Last week, during a humanitarian ceasefire in Shuja’iya, Canada’s The Globe and Mail reported seeing Hamas militants disguised as women, with one concealing his weapon in a baby’s blanket “as if it were an infant.”
“The presence of militant fighters in [Shuja’iya] became clear Sunday afternoon when, under the cover of a humanitarian truce intended to allow both sides to remove the dead and wounded, several armed Palestinians scurried from the scene.”

“Some bore their weapons openly, slung over their shoulder, but at least two, disguised as women, were seen walking off with weapons partly concealed under their robes. Another had his weapon wrapped in a baby blanket and held on his chest as if it were an infant.”

The Globe and Mail also confirmed that the IDF warned civilians to leave, but Hamas instructed residents to ignore the warning:
“While the Israelis had warned citizens two days earlier to leave, many had refused in large part because Hamas said it expected people to remain.”

Vylo, here's what you don't get. The Israelis are not going to accept the Palestinians as Israeli Citizens

The Israelis are not going to allow the Palestinians to have a country, until they renounce violence and actually mean it.

Then the Palestinians have no reason to ever give Israel any peace. Israel will say they will back off then continue to encroach on the Palestinians and complain when they are attacked.

Israel has never offered equal citizenship to the Palestinians, so who knows how that would go.

Yeah I agree the Palestinians are victims of Hamas, not Israel. Why should Israel bother to try to make peace with the Palestinians when the Palestinians are governed by a group that tried to tunnel under kindergartens to plant explosives to murder a bunch of 4 to 5 year-olds?

Why should the Israelis try to make peace when the Palestinians are taught from childhood to want to exterminate every Jew down to the last child?

Why should they give equal citizenship to the Palestinians when the Palestinians want to murder every last Israeli?

Seriously, unless you're saying that you want another holocaust (which I don't believe you do), you're being extremely naive.

I seriously suggest you look at a map sometime, while Gaza and the West Bank aren't exactly large pieces of land, when you look at this geographically, Israel isn't exactly a large country.

Also, I'll be blunt many of the Arab countries didn't care about the Palestinians (and those that support groups like Hamas still don't). The ones that still support Hamas just can't stand the fact there is a Jewish state in a region that they believe should be completely under the control of Muslims.

Israel didn't give the land they took from Jordan back. If they had, Jordan would control the West Bank, not the Palestinians.

Egypt didn't get all its land back (yes they got the overwhelming majority of it). If they had, Egypt would control Gaza, not the Palestinians.

Face the facts, the Palestinians are being used, as they have for decades, to continue a proxy religious war against Israel (because it is Jewish).

They don't all want that, and most probably wouldn't want that if it weren't for the ever encroaching Israeli's.

The people in control of the Palestinians do want that, it's in Hamas' charter, the Iranians that back Hamas, want that, and they don't care how many Palestinians get killed in the process.

If the Palestinians want this to stop, they need to kick Iran's proxy out of power, and tell the Iranians to take a hike.

This massacre took place on July 20th in Shuja'iyah, a city in Gaza, taking the lives of more than 65 people. One of the doctors said that just one ambulance held 2 men, 1 elderly woman, and 2 children.

This video offers you a glimpse of what it's like to live as a Palestinian:

From wiki -

Doesn't change the fact that Goldstein is "being hailed a hero or martyr for indiscriminately killing innocent people, and celebrated in the streets" to this day.

Furthermore, Israel's "horror" or "disgust" means nothing in the face of the actions of other Israeli soldiers that day as well (who were not held accountable by the Israeli government). It means even less considering that Israel has no qualms massacring thousands of people.

Read the testimonies of survivors and eyewitnesses from that day in the Masjid Ibrahimi. The imam said that the shooting was coming from multiple places. Those who ran towards the masjid after they heard the shooting said that the Israeli soldiers outside weren't doing anything and, in fact, blocked the doors and shot at the Palestinians themselves. Inside the masjid, the youth who had managed to kill the terrorist were shot at by Israeli soldiers. Other illegal settlers were participating in this shooting spree during that dawn prayer as well (huh, dawn...like this recent massacre). Students who were making their way to the hospital to donate blood for the wounded were shot at by the IDF.

A 15-year-old boy trying to save his 11-year-old classmate was deliberately hit by an Israeli soldier, forcing him to leave his classmate. He said that he saw a settler loading a magazine of a gun. Another eyewitness who was transporting the wounded said that both Israeli soldiers and settlers were firing at the Palestinians.

I can't link to it here, but you can search for the article. It's entitled:

The monument has been torn down (by the Israelis), and quite rightly so, what a horrific testament, detestable. I don't think I need to illustrate further that it does not reflect the nature or attitude of Israel as a whole (you can read the numbers on wiki), as it's simply not in the nature of the people of Israel. I think you would have a much harder time to justify or excuse what's written in the Hamas charter for starters, and don't get all high and mighty when it comes to killing innocent people, I was there when suicide bombings were at their peak, how much more indiscriminate can you be, it even risked the lives of palestinians living in Israel !

"The ceremonial plaza around the grave was ordered dismantled, but the park and monumental walkway leading up to his grave remain in place."

A visit to the grave of mass-murderer Baruch Goldstein – Mondoweiss

The tombstone, along with what's written on it (praising him and calling him a martyr), were left unharmed. People still visit it today to mourn him and sing praises for him and what he did. So, again, Baruch Goldstein is "being hailed a hero or martyr for indiscriminately killing innocent people, and celebrated in the streets."

There are good Israelis....just look at the group Breaking the Silence or those who refuse to join the IDF because of its actions against an occupied people.

Suicide bombings against civilians was wrong, plain and simple. But there hasn't been one in years.

Were you also there this past summer when the Israeli government killed mainly non-combatants (and killed children playing on a beach with no Hamas member in sight)?

Given the amount of links from FOX, TheBlaze and Alex Jones I've seen in the time since this OP, I think it's safe to say anything goes.

The fact you and other liberals don't consider Fox News to be a credible source, doesn't mean it isn't a credible source...
