Luke 2:25. Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and pious, waiting for the consolation of Israel.
The Spirit of consolation flows from heaven by the promise and oath of God.
Hebrews 6:17,18. Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath. That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, having fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us.

The Holy Spirit crucifying the flesh is experienced as suffering.
