If by soul you mean spirit, I would say yes.
Just as matter consists of vast amounts of energy, whereby it can be converted into energy at the ratio of energy equalling matter times the speed of light squared, I would not be surprised if energy itself is supported in its existence by God's Spirit, for it says that it is in Jesus himself that all things consist (Colossians 1:17).
In order to explain virtual particles, which are bits of matter that spontaneously arise within a vacuum (a volume of space/time containing no detectible matter or energy), physicists ascribe to every point in space an indetectible yet infinite energy potential, which they call the "zero point" or "vacuum point" energy. I believe what they're referring to can only be the infinite Spirit of Christ himself, who brings all things into existence and upholds all things by his own power (Hebrews 1:2-3).
Non-believing science currently deals only with energy and matter, not with spirit (Ecclesiastes 11:5). It remains within the four dimensions of the physical creation: the three spatial dimensions and the one temporal dimension. But I believe there are more than three spatial dimensions. Note that even some of science's own cosmological theories have begun to require "10-dimensional superstrings" and even an "imaginary time."
I believe that just as there are three physical spatial dimensions, so there are three spiritual spatial dimensions, these six spatial dimensions sharing a single temporal dimension. I believe the account of the spirit of the rich man in the spiritual realm within the earth speaking with the spirit of Abraham at a distance within that same realm yet within the same temporal dimension as the physical realm shows this must be the case (Luke 16:22-31).
I believe the relation of the spiritual dimensions to our own may be grasped by thinking of the relation of our three dimensional space to a two dimensional space. Just as we can reach out and touch a two dimensional plane, say a painting, so that only part of us, say our fingertips, are on that plane while the rest of us remains in three spatial dimensions, so I believe angelic beings, who reside in the spiritual dimensions, can reach their fingers into our dimensions while keeping the rest of their bodies out, as in Daniel 5:5. Spiritual dimensions can similarly explain how Jesus in his resurrected body could suddenly appear in the midst of the disciples within a shut room (John 20:26). He was able to move within all seven dimensions of the spiritual and physical creation, withdrawing or revealing himself within the three spatial dimensions of the physical realm as he pleased. He could pass through a closed door as easily as we can pass our finger over a line on a page.
Since God himself created all the dimensions of this creation, he himself must exist in a manner which is beyond all dimensions.
