Glad we agree that Satan will give authority and power to the beast as well s the government ruled by the 10 kings.

Now let us look at this angel, Abaddon.

`And I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to the earth. And to him was given the key to the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit and smoke arose out of the pit....then out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth.....and they had a king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.` (Rev. 9: 1 - 3, & 11)

We see that this angel `fell` from heaven, he is called the destroyer, and he is the king of the demons.
Only Lucifer/Satan is recorded as fallen from heaven, the one who destroys, (John 10: 10) and the only angel who is king over the fallen angels.

These `demons` fallen angels in the bottomless pit have been kept there for the tribulation time. The other fallen angels are with Satan in the area of principalities and powers.

Satan, possessing the world`s leader, will not give his `glory` to another angel. The world marvels at the `beast,` the man possessed of Satan, who gives him his authority, throne and power. (Rev. 13: 3 & 4, & Rev. 17: 8)

Marilyn, it is a star that was fallen from heaven in Revelation 9, (implied to be Satan, imo, from the Revelation 12 war in heaven) who unlocks the bottomless pit to let the other angel free. The other angel is said to be the king over the locust. Which is the angel of the bottomless pit.

It doesn't say which is king over the bottomless pit.

Thus, it is not clear whether Abaddon is the king of the bottomless pit. Or that it is making a distinction that the locust are not themselves angels.... but have a king, who is an angel.... currently in the bottomless pit.

Yes, and yes, Abaddon is another name for Lucifer, star of the morning, Satan, the Dragon, the Devil and the Serpent of old. All these are descriptions of the actions of the fallen angel who is king over all the other fallen angels.

As I said to Riberra, Abaddon is just another name for Lucifer, star of the morning, Satan, the devil, the dragon, the serpent of old. These are all descriptions of his activities mentioned in God`s word. And in each of these activities, the Lord Jesus Christ has specifically defeated him.

Don't get frustrated, I have in the past with going back and forth with some in this very thread and got nowhere. Its like you are speaking another language ... and the scriptures they give do not support at all what they are claiming. But they are absolutely sure of how this going to spin ... I know, the difference is, I'm not a Pre-Tribber, their interpretation is flawed, it doesn't work, so they must use their imagination. They must include Daniel's 70th week ( which was history and only about Christ First Coming). Then this thing about the antichrist is a Jew, presents himself as the Messiah; and then they throw in the abomination of desolation -- that meaning is misunderstood and then we have to be raptured prior to ANY event happening. Since they believe God will not subject the church to tribulation, (which can be proven wrong immediately by examining Rev.7:9, where the multitude that no one can number just came out of the tribulation), they must also distort the meaning the "last trumpet", because if it were trumpet #7, when the rapture does take place, that would screw up their whole view.
Gee whiz ... It will all pan out soon.
The Beast is Islam, they have always been anti-Christ's and will also gather 10 nations to attack Israel. The mark is worn on their sleeves, its their Islamic symbol And their signature is confirmed in Rev. 20:4 - the chopping off of heads which going on as we speak.

Thank you for posting that video. I actually watched all of it and agree with a lot of what he said. The bottom line is really that Satan holds sway over the world and they will not have peace until the Lord comes to judge the nations and rule with a rod of iron.

Just a few thoughts on your comments.

1. The `catching away` of the mature Body of Christ, is after WW3, the Russian War. (Will start a thread on that soon).

2. The Body of Christ ruling from the third heaven, judges fallen angels and the world system, which is all through the tribulation.

3. The great multitude are delineated as nations, tongues, etc etc. The Body of Christ is called out from the nations and referred to as Christ`s body. The great multitude have palm branches, referring to the feast of Tabernacles, which is where they will go to - on the new earth.

Satan and his fallen angels are mentioned to be cast out of Heaven down to the earth only in Revelation 12:7-10... >>>NOT in Revelation 9 who describe a SOLITARY ANGEL send by God [ falling = coming down/descending ] from Heaven having the key of the bottomless pit.

I was referring to Ezekiel 28: 16 where God cast Lucifer, king of angels out of the third heaven. God has not given any other angel authority (key = authority) to be king.

You are on the right track, since Satan and one third of the angel were cast out of heaven long ago.

2Pe_2:4　 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;

Jud_1:6　 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day;



The beginning of Revelation 12 is a history lesson, including the birth and death of the man-child, who is Christ based on Psalm 2.

You need to read Ezekiel 28:16 in the whole context of the Chapter
Ezekiel 28:16 cover two things

1-it is talking about the moment Satan fallen because he wanted to sit on the throne of God...[Read the whole chapter Ezekiel 28 ]

2-it talk about a future time when God will destroy Satan ...
