I believe this to be "crucial" to a serious student of [TORAH] since there is difficult times ahead of us, times of great tribulation we need to have the armor of God to stand firm against the wiles of the devil....
[Eph 6:10-20]10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[c]hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
against spiritual Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Now when scripture speaks about having the armor of G_d is it making referance to the armor the Romans wore? I remember before analizing this deeper that everytime i would read this scripture a ROMAN night would pop right into my mind with all the metal armor a helmet, sword and shield ready for battle, but is this really what Paul had in mind? Was Paul really refering to something Roman which in retrospective was pagan and appropriated it to the armor of G_D? Ofcourse not the Roman armor has no belt the armor Paul alludes to has a belt.. In verse 10 The Apostal Paul says: 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

The words
power and might. are linked together and should form a geat part in our daily lives.. So, it is not Roman armor which Paul is refering to but rather to attitude and determination to do the will of G_d from the part of believers.. Remember that Paul is speaking in regards to a battle and a problem.. The power and the might that Paul refered to does not rely on how often we may pray neither does it rely on whether one fasts or not nor on any sel efforts.. The power and might to do his will eminates from the almighty himself.. Now When have we been able to reach a higher level of spirituality by our own strengths? Never Right? That is because G_d does not want our own strengths. To rely in our own strengths and self efforts is meaningless and a stench to G_d, since we do have a tendency to do wrong because of our fallen nature.. The end results of our own strengths is self glorification... It's clear that the strength that Paul mentions is our strength in the LORD.. The LORD himself states unequivocally without me you can't do nothing [John 15:5]..

Now, when we stand on the immovable ROCK, THE ROCK of our SALVATION YESHUA nothing will move us, but notice this is not the result of our own strengths, it's the LORDS strengths... Our own strengths is usless if we are to hold our arms up by our own strengths sooner or later they will fall, by our own strengths our legs would tremble and we'd fall.. By our own strengths we would lose all interest... By our own strengths we'd lose all strength get tired to the point of exaustion till we can't no more and forfit... That is why G_d cannot depend in our own strengths to do his will... Again vers 10:
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

You can't be strong in your pastor, neither can you be strong in your Rabbi nor your wife husband ect but you need to be strong in the LORD, even if your husband son or Rabbi for that matter has left the faith...You need to remain faithful in the LORD because from him is where Your going to recieve the strengths to continue...

quoted by Torah:

dear brother in Yeshua I would like to share something with you If I may. The “work” that Yeshua did on the cross is gentle and powerful. The cross is not of Israel. The cross was a pagan symbol from Egypt that the Romans used to kill thousands of Jews before, during, & after the time of Yeshua. To my Jewish Brother’s it is like displaying a Gas chamber if Yeshua would have given his life during the Holocaust.:cry:
Shalom

Shalom Dear Sir,

I am so sorry that historical holocaust is remembered to you (and also to me). I have deleted that “cross”. But I am really confused whether every “Cross Shape” is from Paganism? Can you teach me more ? I cry for the great tribulation of Jewish with you. :cry:Is in most cases “Christian” a symbol of Paganism? And in a few cases it is not?[FONT=&#23435] [/FONT]

Sincerely, Yusuph
