Expecting something from him but really wasn't expecting such a forceful statement. I'll say this; He was not wishy washy and I know where he stands on the issue.

Had an Anglican friend alert me to this show years ago and I cannot believe how wild it was and yet unique in making the points they did on aspects of Muslim culture. Glad they had the entire seasons online, as seen in Little Mosque on the Prairie Season 1 and Little Mosque on the Prairie Season 2.

Of course, they had some earlier shows from the 90s that did some humorous takes on the matter. The show called "The Critic" did a pretty amazing job on the matter once when they showed him going to the Middle East during the Gulf War..

Sorry wrong link. Seems now he's taking a bit harder stand. Thinking a military solution may be the solution.

He even said that those religions who do not condemn this become a religion with no credibility. He has taken a hard stand. It bothered me at first then i remembered a song and where the words came from.

there are also schools of thought within Islam that seek to re-imagine what the Quran is teaching and practise their faith without the need to exclude or even incite to violence.

America needs to seriously quit arming and funding 'freedom fighters" because it always seems to come back and bite the heads that feeds it.

Unfortunately, it is the case that we need to also see where our desire to intervene has often caused just as many problems. As seen here:

I watched a movie tonight about a village that had been half muslim and half christian living together for years and suddenly at war with each other. But it was mild compared to the reality. All those people forced from their homes, it's far beyond only christianity being attacked. I have to admit ignorance and bewilderment as to the final count and what it means to the people there.

here was actually an amazing presentation I recalled from last year that was very prophetic when it came to examining the ways that Christianity being pushed out of the Middle East would lead to more war with others, including war promoted by those who don't want Muslims and CHristians to be able to work in peace with each other. I've been reading that book you mentioned earlier in the thread Waging Peace on Islam.... interesting read. I highly recommend this book to anyone....and no I'm not done reading it, but I got a feeling this is going to be added to my list of favorite books to read.

So glad that the book I recommended has been blessing you as it has so many others (including myself ) - it was so timely what was said within it and others with similar mindsets.
