The woman in Revelation is not the church. There is no such thing an old covenant church. So it is not necessary to say "New Covenant" church.

The persons saved after the rapture of the church are called the saints in Revelation.

BaB2, you are airing bickering between two man-made systems of how to understand the bible. Covenant/New Covenant theology vs Dispensationalism.

Anyone who claims the New Covenant cannot be found in Daniel 9, and instead promotes another viewpoint unknown to the rest of our faith, would be the one "airing bickering".

We are still waiting for you to provide any Bible scholar on the planet who agrees with your interpretation of Daniel 9:27.

Who would be the one here with the private interpretation?

I am sorry, but the messiah cutoff being raised on the third day is not in Daniel 9.

Being cutoff not for himself is, but not the being raised on the third day.

Let's just stick to the subject matter at hand. The 70 weeks of Daniel.

    Exactly!

This was the teaching of the Church until modern dispensationalism infiltrated.

    From Spurgeon:

The Holy Ghost was given, and multitudes were born to the church of God, yea we may say, a nation was born in a day. The wilderness and the solitary place were glad for them, and the desert rejoiced and blossomed as the rose.

Why are you afraid of 1700 years of historical defenders of the true faith?

    Jesus gave the time-frame here:

Matthew 24:34 ~ Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.

    ....
.which is why He instructed them.....nearly 2000 years ago (because these instructions were FOR them....not us to follow).

This wasn't about His return.....it's about His coming in His kingdom....His glory revealed from heaven.

Matthew 24:3 ~ what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?

Daniel 7:13 ~ In my vision in the night I continued to watch, and I saw One like the Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into His presence.

Why even have a parable of the fig tree is that was the case. Just say this generation will not pass away without all the things from verse 15 to 31 including His Return being fulfilled.

You took the verse out of context.

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it (His Return) is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Are you speaking of who is the nation born in a single day at time of that particular day - like May 14, 1948?

Isaiah 66:7-8 really doesn't ask that question. Nor indicate, nor make any point of it.

    It asks four questions.

The NT answers all of them.

None of the answers relate to 1948.

Who is the "male-child" in this verse?

Isa 66:7 "Before she was in labor, she gave birth; Before her pain came, She delivered a male child.

Because there were signs for them to look for in order to get out of Jerusalem in time:

Luke 21:21 ~ Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country stay out of the city.

No, it doesn't say "His return".

This is what the disciples asked....and what Jesus's answer was about:

    Matthew 24:3
While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”

Jesus. Jesus was born 2000 years before Israel became a nation again in one day.

Israel, Zion, will deliver her children (delivered meaning saved) in the time of her pain, the great tribulation.

    Same thing.

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

The sign of the Son of man in heaven is the event in Revelation 6, the sixth seal.

The world will see Jesus in heaven before the throne of God, sickle in hand, prepared to execute vengeance on behalf of them martyred during the great tribulation.

Matthew 24:15-31 is end times. Parts of Luke 21 is 70 AD first century. That portions ends in Luke 21:24.

24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

He was not born 2,000 years before the Day of Pentecost.

See the "holy nation" in 1 Peter 2:4-10.
