1948 and 1967 are recent events on the 2000 year scale. Dispensationalists did not create those events.

Isaiah 66:7-8 and the parable of the fig tree are in the scripture.

Does the passage apply to the Day of Pentecost and the nation found in 1 Peter 2:4-10, or to those found in 1 John 2:22-23?

If you think there is no connection between Dispensationalism and the modern State of Israel, please explain why John Hagee spoke at the opening of the U.S. embassy in modern Jerusalem, and never mentioned the name of God's Son.

Some of us have cut 2 John 1:7-11 out of our Bibles.

Covenant and New Covenant dropped the ball regarding Israel back in the land, a nation again in a single day. And the parable of the fig tree. And the rapture. And Daniel 9, the 70th week. And Daniel 8, the little horn transgression desolation vision.

It is those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine which have attempted to force the scriptures above to make their modern doctrine work.

Pastor Chuck Baldwin reveals below the truth about the modern state created by the godless United Nations during 1948.

Their new goal is to take over the entire Middle East.

That's a derogatory catch phrase created to deny that the church and Israel are two different entities.

The church is in prophecy. And Israel is in prophecy.

The church will be raptured. Israel will not be.

Matthew 24:15-31 is a message to the Jews, Israel, who will end up going through the great tribulation.

Matthew 24:32-51 is a message to Christians, the church, on how to avoid going through the great tribulation by the rapture.

Those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine reveal the truth of this term below.

Classic Dispensationalists believe God will again go back to dealing with the modern nation of Israel after the end of the “Church Age”. They claim the Church is a “parenthesis” in God’s dealings with the nation of Israel.

Lewis Sperry Chafer, the first president of Dallas Theological, had the following to say about the difference between Israel and the Church.

“The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity.”

Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dispensationalism (Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936), p. 107.

Chafer states that, ‘Israel is an eternal nation, heir to an eternal land, with an eternal kingdom, on which David rules from an eternal throne,’ that is, on earth and distinct from the church who will be in heaven.”

Lewis Sperry Chafer. Systematic Theology. 1975. Vol. IV. pp. 315-323.

John Walvoord, another prominent voice of Dallas Theological stated…

"...it is an article of normative dispensational belief that the boundaries of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants from the Nile to the Euphrates will be literally instituted and that Jesus Christ will return to a literal and theocratic Jewish kingdom centred on a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. In such a scheme the Church on earth is relegated to the status of a parenthesis.”

    John F. Walvoord, The Rapture Question.1979, p. 25

    ----------------------------------------------

Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, the Two Peoples of God doctrine of modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it.

BaB2 you are airing bickering between to opposing man-made systems to understand the bible by.

The bible has prophecies specific to the church. And prophecies specific to Israel. Neither the church nor Israel are framed as of the two peoples of God in the bible. The closest thing would be Jesus saying I have sheep of another fold (referring to the gentiles) in John 10:16.

There is only one way to be saved.

And everyone here knows what the new covenant in Christ is as being the new covenant in Jeremiah 31. There is no reason to keep posting about something there is no disagreement with.

    _____________________________________________________

Covenant and New Covenant theology, and partial preterism dropped the ball in understanding what covenant will be confirmed for 7 years and by who.

Dispensationalists for the most have misunderstood what the covenant is as well, by thinking it is a peace agreement sponsored by the Antichrist.

And I yet to hear anyone comment that the vision that Gabriel referred to in Daniel 9:23 as being the vision of the transgression of desolation for the time of the end by the little horn person.

What point would there be in Jesus describing the signs to look for to people 2000 years prior (and counting)?

    The fulfillment of Isaiah 66:7-8:

    Acts 2
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

    1 Peter 2
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

The reality of the fig tree:

    Matthew 21
19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

    Thus:

    Matthew 21
43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

That is the nation of 1 Peter 2:9.

God's sole and exclusive Chosen People.

    His true Church.

Because that is when the events in Matthew 15-31, the great tribulation and His return will take place.

The fig tree represents Jerusalem. The parable of the fig tree generation that will not pass away is the one that sees Jerusalem when the leaves are tender. i.e. Israel not very old and Jerusalem in the hands of the Jews again.

Isaiah 66:7-8 pertains to Israel, Jerusalem - Zion.

7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

It is indicating that Zion, i.e. Israel, Jerusalem will become believers in Jesus, the man child that was born before Israel's, Jerusalem's pains of going through the great tribulation, it will be when Israel is a nation again, when the Jews will finally come to Jesus during the great tribulation.

One of the greatest errors of the Two Peoples of God doctrine is the claim modern Jews will come to salvation outside of the Church.

It is not found in the Bible.

Revelation 12 basically indicates the same thing.

Revelation 12:5 And she (Zion, Israel) brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

    2000 years ago.

Revelation 12-6-17 is end times, about the woman, Zion, Israel, the 7 year 70th week of Daniel 9.

In the middle of the 7 years, the Jews become believers in Jesus and the gospel of Salvation in Revelation 12:10

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
