I recall some talk a while back about the Michigan UP seceding and becoming the state of Superior. Not gonna happen.
For the record, I worked as a contractor for Boeing. Israel was a valued customer for the F-15 and KC-707 transport. It was my understanding, that the military aid Congress authorized for Israel had to to be spent on American products. So that money essentially came back into our own economy. And our DoD has purchased Israeli military equipment, much of which is quite high-tech. Or so I'm told. But in any case, our relationship with Israel seems to be mutually beneficial.

Obama made a deal with Iran. In return for the USA returning money seized from Iran (in earlier sanctions) Iran agreed to curtail its nuclear program under international inspections. The deal was working fine until Trump cancelled it because he was hell bent on destroying any good thing that Obama accomplished. History will regard that as a mistake and an "American tragedy".
