I thought it would be useful to look at the Catholic prophecy of the Great Monarch, and how it seems to tie into Daniel 8 & 7 & the start of the '4 winds'. Revelation 7:1-3 (I am of the opinion that the Great Monarch (the Goat's Large Horn of Daniel 8) is not the 'antichrist' but the offshoot of that kingdom is the little horn of Daniel 8 (but not the little horn of Daniel 7). And looking more into Daniel 7, it seems to be the case that these 4 beasts are the 4 angels bound at the Euphrates in Revelation 9:13-14, and that the 4th Beast is the Bull / Ox of Deuteronomy 33:17.

When we look at all 4 of the Daniel 7 4 Beast kingdoms (& by extension, the Dan 2 kingdoms which seem to parallel them), they all occur after the 4 Winds event which we know from Revelation comes at the Trumpets, so the Dan 7 kingdoms come after the start of the Day of the Lord. All 4 of the Dan 7 beasts are future (and these are the 4 angels of the 6th Trumpet which we'll get to in a second).

The Dan 8 beasts are also all future/ current beasts (the vision is for the latter days Daniel 8:17). It seems that after Babylon (the USA) is no longer the reigning superpower, Russia & Iran will become powerful (the 2 horned Ram), attacking the West, the North, & the South. Then there will be the Goat's Large Horn (which in Catholic prophecy terms seems to be the 'Great Monarch' ~Prophesies Regarding the Coming Great Catholic Monarch - Yves Dupont - Catholic Prophecy~ ). The Goat's Large Horn (the Great Monarch) will defeat Russia & Iran (it will be said that the Great Monarch will have defeated Gog & Magog). Then the Goat's Large Horn magnifies himself/ becomes great, then immediately dies. His kingdom is immediately shattered into 4 kingdoms at the onset of the 4 winds event (Daniel 8:8). (I think it is possible that the Great Monarch could be Prince Charles (descended from Greece, his father Prince Philip was born in Greece, and due to Brexit, the UK could be separated into its 4 constituent parts: England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales (whose flag is the red dragon).

Neither Daniel 2 nor Daniel 7 make any correlation to 'Grecia' or any other country (except for Babylon in Daniel 2).

The 4 kingdoms that arise at the onset of the 4 winds in Daniel 8 were 1 country before, under the kingship of the Goat's Large Horn (Daniel 8:8-9). The 4 beasts of Daniel 7 are not said to have a common kingdom from which they are arising. The Daniel 8 little horn that arises from 1 of the 4 offshoots of the Goat's Large Horn is different from the Daniel 7 little horn that arises from the Daniel 7 4th beast. The Daniel 8 little horn cuts off the daily sacrifices, while the Daniel 7 little horn is an arrogant blasphemer that oppresses the holy people. It is possible that the Daniel 7 little horn is the False Prophet to the Daniel 8 little horn 'antichrist'.

It's important to note that it is the Leopard that is given dominion in Daniel 7:6.

When we look at the 6th Trumpet, in Revelation 9

13 The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the four horns of the golden altar that is before God. 14 It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. 16 The number of the mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand. I heard their number.

I looked everywhere for info on these 4 angels. Of course, there had to be the usual Tom Horn BS of Nephilim blah-blah. But it is actually pretty simple: it is the 4 creatures/ angels from Ezekiel 1 & 10 which are synonymous with the Daniel 7 beasts.

Basically, there are some translation problems, but I think that the case can be made that these 4 angels are the same as the Dan 7 beasts & that the '4th Beast' is not a dragon (as I had always assumed), but instead it is an 'ox'.

In Ezekiel 1:1, it is talking about the River Chebar, which is actually a tributary of the Euphrates river. Topical Bible: Chebar

As you read it, understand that there are some translation problems I'll address afterward.

4 As I looked, behold, a storm wind was coming from the north, a great cloud with fire flashing forth continually and a bright light around it, and in its midst something like glowing metal in the midst of the fire. 5 Within it there were figures resembling four living beings. And this was their appearance: they had human form.

6 Each of them had four faces and four wings.

7 Their legs were straight and their feet were like a calf’s hoof, and they gleamed like burnished bronze. 8 Under their wings on their four sides were human hands. As for the faces and wings of the four of them, 9 their wings touched one another; their faces did not turn when they moved, each went straight forward.

10 As for the likeness of their faces, each had a human face. The four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle.

11 Such were their faces. Their wings were spread out above; each had two touching another being, and two covering their bodies. 12 And each went straight forward; wherever the spirit was about to go, they would go, without turning as they went. 13 In the midst of the living beings there was something that looked like burning coals of fire, like torches darting back and forth among the living beings. The fire was bright, and lightning was flashing from the fire. 14 And the living beings ran to and fro like bolts of lightning.

At verse 6, the word 'each' is the Hebrew word 'echad' H259 which is normally translated as '1'. So just substitute '1' for 'each' and you get: 6 One of them had four faces and four wings.

Which when you look at Daniel 7, one of the beasts does have 4 heads & 4 wings (the Leopard is the only one with 4 heads & 4 wings). Now let's look at verse 10:

As for the likeness of their faces, each had a human face. The four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle.

Here's the neat part: Hebrew reads right to left, as opposed to, say, English which is left to right. So, the 1st beast being referred to is the one on the right, the lion. The last one, the one on the left is the 'bull'/ 'ox'. Ezekiel 1:10 The form of their faces was that of a man, and each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, the face of an ox on the left side, and also the face of an eagle.

As for having the 'face of an eagle', the word is H6440, 'panem' Strong's Hebrew: 6440. פָּנִים (panim or paneh) -- face, faces and is also translated as 'appearance'. So they have the 'appearance' of an eagle - meaning the eagle wings (the lion with eagle wings). In Ezekiel 1:24, we see that they 'drop their wings' when they stop moving.

These animals are symbolic qualities:
- the lion 'roars' = the sound of 'many waters' / 'flood' of a heavenly army (Ezekiel 1:24 When they moved, I heard the sound of their wings like the roar of mighty waters, like the voice of the Almighty, and a sound of commotion like the noise of an army. When they stood still, they lowered their wings.) ,

- the ox 'tramples' just like the Dan 7 4th beast 'treads everything under' in Daniel 7:7.

- The 'leopard' is quick as 'lightning' described in Ezekiel 1:14.

- The 'missing' animal is the bear. Dan 7 has the bear as the 2nd animal & Ezekiel has no bear mentioned. But the salient point for the Bear in Daniel 7:5 is that he 'devours much flesh'.

Again, the 'lion' face is the creature on the right, the 'ox' is the creature on the left, one has 4 heads, 4 wings & all have the appearance of an eagle (meaning the last one has just the eagle appearance). If we look at the symbol of the eagle/ vulture in the Bible, there are multiple references to eagles/ vultures devouring much flesh:
Deuteronomy 28:26, Ezekiel 32:4, Ezekiel 39:4, Jeremiah 12:9 and many more.

But the most interesting part is getting back to the 'ox'/'bull' as the 4th Beast with 10 horns that 'tramples everything'.

Here is Deuteronomy 33:17, talking about Joseph

In majesty he is like a firstborn bull;
his horns are the horns of a wild ox.
With them he will gore the nations,
even those at the ends of the earth.
Such are the ten thousands of Ephraim;
such are the thousands of Manasseh.”

The 'thousands' even echoes the '200 million' in the 6th Trumpet. The 'ox' pushes/ gores the nations. Some translations say 'unites the nations'. Looking more at Deut 33, Joseph has 2 'horns'/ 2 tribes: Ephraim & Manasseh. This implies even further that this 'ox' that 'tramples everything down' is the 4th Beast of Daniel 7, has '2 horns' and 'unites the nations' - the 10 tribes of Israel anoint Joseph (the 11th horn) who has 2 horns. Deuteronomy 33:17 Interlinear: His honour is a firstling of his ox, And his horns are horns of a reem; By them peoples he doth push together To the ends of earth; And they are the myriads of Ephraim, And they are the thousands of Manasseh. Thus, the Daniel 7 little horn sounds alot like the False Prophet. He is rallying everyone to unite under the Daniel 8 little horn who has / will cut off the daily sacrifices.
