As the Bible says, some things are a ‘’shame to even speak’’, even blind-shame. This is no exception. For the possibility of the young convert to Christ that might be reading, this is shocking to find out if you haven’t; that many in the faith are falling prey to masturbation.
Confession, Repentance and a Profession of Faith is Key (to resist the trap of the councilor's weak delivery)
For many unrepentant, trickery reaches into the heart to entice in ‘’the hour of temptation to try all the world’’ when faced with the popular question which refuses to die: Is masturbation a sin? Those unskillful in proclaiming the word will say,
Possibly, while referencing the Bible’s answer,
But oh yes, the Bible does directly deal with it, but they just drained the power from it's answer, providing a fence to straddle for those not ''convinced'' in the valley of decision.
There are two groups of people that can ask the same question, is masturbation listed with all the other ''works of the flesh'', we know of course literally, it is not, but spiritually yes, it is (Rom 14:23)! Problem is, those same two people have two distinct attitudes of the heart waiting to fulfill her treasured horizon: 1. A reason to act on what we don't have, or, 2. A reason to rest on what we do have, verse 23, glory to God!
For those still clinging to a 'list to justify', "The Jig is Up", you're willing subjects of deception with an unrepentant heart that wishes such a citation had never made it's way to you. Repent, and turn to find the peace He provides that ALIGNS not ALIENATES itself from His holiness!!!

“Everything that does not come from faith is sin” (Romans 14:23). If we are not fully convinced that an activity is honoring to God, it is a sin for us.’’
