Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving....
This weekend is our Thanksgiving. Yesterday as I was shopping for ingredients for tonights supper, it occured to me that many of us are better off than what we think. To be able to go into the grocery store and spend nearly $200 on our thanksgiving meals is something to be Thankful about, especially considering how much food goes to waste!
Made me think of an article I read in the Readers Digest(cannot find it online but supplied a link to the same author as was in Reader's Digest) about how lucky we really are...we have more than what royalty did 3-4 generations ago!
We can text free overseas, we have hundreds of channels, ipods, computers...
Happy Thanksgiving...hmmm maybe it should be everyday...not once a year (and Im thankful for the wonderful family I have-though that wont stop me from complaining endlessely about them as I do need one hobby )
