Dems keep saying Trump's policies will spell disaster for the economy. They've been saying that since before he was elected in 2016. But when they are proven wrong they give credit to Obama even though what we are seeing with the economy is after Trump reversed Obama's polices.

It usually takes a couple of years for the whole thing to come crashing down like it did for Bush with nearly exactly the same policies.

We'll see if Trump can do it faster or not.

When was the last time the national debt went down?

The deficit had been moving in that direction for years.

For my entire lifetime, every time it gets close or goes over republicans find ways to spend more and cut taxes.

Now we're moving in the other direction again.

National debt is higher than ever. Anyone notice?

Debt only matters when Democrats are in charge.

Don't you know that if something good happens in this country then thanks be to Donald Trump, but if something bad happens in this country then it's all Obama's fault? Get with the program. Lol.

It's been going on longer than that.

Yeah, but it seems worse to me for some reason since Trump was elected. He apparently likes to take credit for a lot of things I'm sure he had absolutely nothing to do with in the first place.

There'll be plenty of time for a sober analysis of Trumps policies in hindsight that most people won't bother to listen to because they live in the ADD modern times.

First time in a decade!

U.S. Is World’s Most Competitive Economy for First Time in a Decade

The U.S. is back on top as the most competitive country in the world, regaining the No. 1 spot for the first time since 2008 in an index produced by the World Economic Forum...
The US is the greatest debtor in the history of money. Every fiat currency has eventually gone to 0 value. The Bible speaks of a time in Rev 6 when the world economy is so bad that a days wage is a quart of wheat on a global scale and peace is taken that men should kill one another. We are a nation that is guilty of great moral failure and the economic forecast is for judgment. In Lev and Duet the chapters on blessing and cursing are just like the laws of sowing and reaping. We have been and continue to sow towards reaping judgment. Since WW3 the world has run on a dollar based reserve currency. The global government is being pushed by the same powers that set up the dollar and they are loyal to themselves and not thinking of the US best interest. Prophetically the whole world is heading towards tribulation and this rise is not going to reverse the fact that the US is broke. The debt is growing faster than the economy.

It's a pity no one seems to take a survey, or have an interest in, which is the most cooperative country in the world.
The problem is Trump has a zero sum worldview. There can never be two winners. There has to be a winner and a loser.

Translation: How well does a country cooperate with a leftwing, socialist, globalist agenda?

Yes. But dems don't mind when a democratic president presides over the same. So They shouln't be too upset about it.

Weird how the facts seem to show that Democratic Presidents are actually better at this whole budgeting thing. The facts must be lying or something.

Or maybe they're being manipulated with media collusion. It happened with Clinton and the mythological surplus.

Trunp's policies are the same boom bust effect you always get from Republican policies. His administration is different since Bush and Reagan successfully managed massive deregulation. The fact that this Congress is inept and Trump spends most of his time at the golf course or at campaign rallies is whats keeping the economy going.

I don't know about you but I get nervous when I see the Dow plunge 5 points like it did recently. At least they didn't get the dregulation corporate America needed to drive the economy over a clift. Play more golf Donald, your doing us all a favor.

Translation: How well does a country cooperate with a leftwing, socialist, globalist agenda?
No. That was not what I meant. Perhaps we can work together to explore why you felt that was my message and move towards a shared understanding of what it actually was. I'll open by expanding on my concise remark, which was: It's a pity no one seems to take a survey, or have an interest in, which is the most cooperative country in the world.

It is my view, one I am prepared to support if asked, that many aspects of life depend upon competition and cooperation. The appropriate balance between the two will vary with time and circumstance, but excessive focus on one or another seems to me potentially damaging. So the mention of an improvement in a measure of the USAs competitiveness raised the thought: is sufficient attention being paid to cooperation? And that led to the thought, do we pay enough attention to measuring and assessing cooperation? Hence my post.

I think right wing groups, neessarily, cooperate as much as left wing groups. Would you agree? Of course, that just an opinion, because we don't seem to have a way of measuring cooperation in the same way we measure competition. Regardless, I certainly wasn't thinking in terms of leftwing/righwing, socialist/capitalist, globalist/?

I'm just thinking, in general, cooperation is surely a "good thing". Properly conducted it should remove the labels like left and right, that foster destructive competition and encourage the constructive competition that occurs between those who have mutual respect, even if they differ over details.

I look forward to your further thoughts on the matter.
