I think a better question is whether the believer can thrive in Hollywood and the answer is always individual. You can’t generalize because gifting, anointing, equipping and temptations are rarely the same.

And you must give the latter serious attention in light of the climate. Someone who struggles with lust, greed, perversion, vainglory and pride may find it difficult to stand against them in an environment that rewards their presence. If the person has opened themselves to New Age or Eastern practices (believing them harmless); they will have a hard time too.
