testament in the bible

I would like to post this thread not to offend or harm anyone.
I hope you just understand what I want to tell you.

I have read/listened to many christian articles where there was the mention of the word
old/new "testament".
But as long I have read the bible I never found that word in any verse.
Doing more research I found out that it was translated from latin (not a biblical language) in place of covenant in some places.

That the word is not found any here in the bible and as everyone knows what is meant by NT and OT. Does it matter after all trinity is also not found in the bible.

It's originally a Latin word which means 'Covenant'. The Latin translation had a key influence in early Christianity. That's why the term New Testament (which means new covenant).
