I'm very new to gardening and don't have any idea what to do with the daffodils in my garden that actually bloomed this year. Most of my gardening exploits over the years have resulted in death. I'd prefer for this not to be the case here! How should I treat the remaining stems/leaves after the flowers are done? Sorry if this question sounds stupid. I just have no clue. :sorry:

Fertilize the base around the leaves after they have bloomed. After they've bloomed out cut the dead flowers off which helps plant conserve energy for later years..(Mid June they die back, mine do anyways)
I tie mine together, add grit to the bottom to keep fungus at bay.
