tell me about your day off

I like sociology and social experiments and studies and whatnot.
I studied a bit of it in college.
Lately I've been kind of fascinated with how everyday people live in their homes.

Will you tell me about your day off?
Do you go out or stay home?
restaurant, cook or takeout?
Do you do projects around the house?
Is there something special waiting for you in the garage,
like a car to restore or a paint project?
Do you watch a lot of tv and/or spend a lot of time on the computer?
Are friends and family around?
Do you spend time outside?
Are chores a priority?
If you have kids, do you do anything special with them?
What type of media do you like best when you're just trying to relax?
Are there any hobbies like scrapbooking?

I think the Web proves to be a big research resource..........lots of ppl are surfing when they could be doing other stuff...

Depends.

If I'm stuck indoors, I'll probably watch some guilty-pleasure TV, read a book, listen to music and sing, have wild all-over-the-house wrestling matches with my son, play some video games...

...are we assuming we aren't going to leave the house on this day off? lol

I have weekends off and what I do depends on a lot of things. If I've had a really rough week, I'll probably spend it on the couch watching movies and whatnot and just relax. Chances are, though, I'll probably have something scheduled either for my kids to do (my youngest is a scout, so that's common) or I'll have meetings or events to go to for one of the groups I'm in.

I also spend every Sunday at my mom's hanging out with her, with or without the kids.

When it gets warmer again, I'm planning on forcing the kids to see the sunlight again, but I don't like being out in the cold.

On my day off I like to be home away from people. Of course, that's not always possible since errands have to be run on that day. But I prefer to have time to myself and it makes me happy.

Do you go out or stay home? -Depends on the weather and other variables. I would prefer to go on family outings when possible (lately, it has not been feasible due to weather and other things).

restaurant, cook or takeout? -All of the above. It just depends on what we are in the mood for.

Do you do projects around the house? - Sometimes, if we can get the grandparents to take the kids.

Are chores a priority? - It depends on what is going on. I like to have things done, but we have two babies and "babies don't keep".

What type of media do you like best when you're just trying to relax? - We rent movies.

Are there any hobbies like scrapbooking? - Ain't nobody got time fo' dat.

On my day off, I tend to sleep in a couple hours, clean the house, read a book or watch netflix, and visit my bf. Weather permitting we go for walks. Otherwise, we go to the library or stay at homes with games and tv
