If Ted Cruz wants to.help Americans he and the Senate should pass a stimulus, not interrogate Twitter.
He us no Katie Porter, riding into Congress on a white horse carrying a whiteboard ready to bring justice to Americans.
There is a good reason Twitter only seems to censor Republicans--and 20,000 goid reasons why they censor Trump. Lies. Stop lying and your posts will sale through Twitter's 2 year old established non-partisan policy.
Rudy Giuliani just blew up and stormed out of a Fox Business Channel interview in which the interviewer questioned the validity of the same story Twitter deleted--which Fox News Channel refused to promote and which the NY Post writer was ashamed to put his byline on (read the article.) So I think Twitter was right here.
Giuliani gets irate after Fox Business Network's Kennedy questions his Hunter Biden allegations: 'You better apologize!'

Ted Cruz can be brutal at times, but he exposed this gentleman for EXACTLY what he was.

First question.

Mr. Dorsey, does Twitter have the ability to influence elections.

Answer - No

Flat out lie and he said it like he believed it.

Jack Dorsey may have single-handedly just ensured that section 230 protections are revoked for all tech companies.

Good job, Jack.

If it gets revoked at 1:00:30pm, Twitter’s lawyers will make Twitter shutdown Trump’s account by 1:00:32pm just from the legal danger it would be to allowed to continue. Does Trump know his Twitter account will be closed because of this?

At least the CEO seemed to be somewhat apologetic/humbled, however, Twitter got exactly what they deserved, and needed to get in order to wake them up to the fact they need to think first.

Hopfully this will get fixed, and thank God for honest, non biased media, thet not only puts the truth of the news out there, but the truth about those who would stifle the truth.

Sheesh! They established a policy in 2018 which applied to every poster.

They were not going after any posters--it just happened that the posters who were posting false information happened to be Republicans, more particularly Trump supporters.

If I had any false stories pushed by Democrats, I might post one just to prove to you that it would be labeled false, too, but I can't find any. Once I posted a story which was from a liberal site, and later realized it was fake. I apologized, and I now try to use more trustworthy sources.

Don't be fooled by Dorsey's MO. His game plan has not changed, and he's very good at his act: admit fault, promise to do better, do nothing. With the help of a somnolent Justice Department, it has bought him much valuable time to influence this election. Thanks for nothing, Mr. Barr.

If there's any good side to this, it's that alternatives to Big Tech are rising up, and we are learning coping tactics that will serve us well going forward. But Dorsey and Twitter need to be held accountable.

We shall see wth Dorsey, but yeah, this wil certianly put this in the spotlight to be dealt with for the future.

So much damage has been done by a stifling media already, i just hope it hasnt hurt the election to the point of a trump loss.

What a farce. They invite the top 3 social media CEOs in to discuss 230, and its two HOURS before anyone even asks them a question about it. Like the Democrats said, it was a pathetic display election grandstanding and an embarrassment.

Sometimes I actually wish the Republicans could get one of these things they ask for and don’t actually understand. Let them revoke 230 and then watch Trump scream as he realizes he then gets censored into silence on social media as a result.

If you're actually interested in the subject, this is a must-watch. If you can't see the bias, at least some, it's because of the bubble you keep yourself in.

Where Ted Cruz is something of a political rhetoric specialist.

Marsha Blackburn is not...

Dorsey is not done yet with testifying. Her questions are not going to allow him to escape from the full weight of his actions.

His testimony is especially damning from her questions. She isn't the showboat Ted Cruz is...but she is more cunning and vicious.

I don't think you know it will be closed. It might be a hopeful opinion, but there is nothing to say it would beyond that.

If Twitter is going to be held legally liable for what their members post, their lawyers are going to make them shutdown Trump’s Twitter. There will be a lot of other accounts shutdown as well but Trump will be very close to the top of the list.

You have not read much on 230 have you.

Ted Cruz shoulda shown some of that “backbone” when Trump publicly insulted his wife.

If you want to survive, you don’t show backbone to the Don.

How I really wish that these Social Media platforms hadn't done this and just did as they knew they were supposed to.

But they didn't...and they have financially hurt a ton of people.
And now it's time for them to pay the piper.

But I don't want government intrusion into business...and censorship enforcement by government. (Which is what is coming)

It sucks...but it's here.
