Yes, but it is a man's number.

I've read all of them but the two prequel books, & I think now that they are going to paperback I will read them too... if I can find them on sale. I liked Glorious Appearing pretty well. However, now that I am done with all of them I feel that they are things that could have been better. As a whole I'd give 'em a 6.5 out of 10.

Eh... I would give them a 7 out of 10...

I just finished Glorious Appearing. Whew!! I just lived seven years in two weeks! At least, that what it feels like.

I like how everyone is still themselves even though Jesus is there among them.

"Irene," Ray said, holding her. "You're permitted one cosmic 'I-told-you-so."

Oh! And... Uh... Jesus wins! Praise the Lord!
I'm going to be laughing maniacally for the next week! ^_^

I thought the series was pretty good - it had its parts where it was dragging and yes there were parts where the technology could have been stepped up, but all in all - I thought it was really good.

I have not read any of the prequel books, nor have I seen any of the movies.

Are there any other series that are enlightening to read?

I am not that much of a reader, but I am getting into it.

6 is actually man's number - 666 is representative of the BEAST.

Anyways, does anyone know what the significance of 216 is? They keep mentioning it but they won't say what it is.

Something I realized:

Nicolae Jetty Carpathia = NJC = Not Jesus Christ

216 represents 6x6x6

Also

if you take Nicolae Jetty Carpathia and give each letter a number i.e. a=1, b=2, c=3...

N would be 14, i = 9, c = 3...for his entire name - you will come up with 59 for his first name

Jetty - would be 80

and

Carpathia would be 77...totalling 59+80+77=216

;)

Congrats on making it knownbeforetime! I'm in Armageddon now. I haven't had much time for reading lately. But I'll finish them soon.

I started out on the Kids books and finished those fairly quickly but then I started the adult books and only managed to get to Desecration but then stopped because I already knew the story line because it was the background to the kids book. It just got too boring for me. Probably because I have a ten minute attention span...

the following is the solutions for the other 10 numbers as outlined in "Indwelling" pg 81.:

6x6x6=216 (of course)
6+6x6=72
6x6+6=42
6x6-6=30
6+6+6=18
6-6-6=-6
6+6/6=2
6-6+6=6
6/6+6=7
6-6/6=0

i have waaaay too much time on my hands....

I started reading the series back in high school. I think I made it to indwelling and I just didn't have any spare time to read...so I stopped.
Now it seems I have alot more time for reading, but I have so many other things that I'm reading.
Hopefully some day I'll be able to pick up this series again and finish it.

I got all the way up through The Mark, and quit. I just didn't care anymore. I found the books to be shallow and poorly written in comparison to most of the fiction I've read. The characters are flat, the plot is unimpressive and seems to rely on lots of action, interrupted by the occasional sermon. It also seemed like the authors stretched out the series in order to make more money; originally they were only planning a few books. The only thing I won't knock about them is the fact that they've gotten a lot of people saved. *shrug* Whatever floats your boat, I guess.

I just finished Armageddon. Yeah, they are really stretching it here. They could have cut out half the book and added the glorious appearing at the end of it. The story is just dragging on now, where before it was very busy. But that won't stop me from getting to the end...
