On Day One, God created a mass of sea water in the hollow of His hand.

That's all it was: sea water.

Without form and void.

Then God created gravity, and gravity shaped that mass of sea water -- that I like to call Terra Aqua -- into an oblate spheroid.

And one rotation of that oblate spheroid took 24 hours to complete.

That's a nice piece of fiction, maybe add it to the poetry and prose subforum? it's not written .. except the without form and void bit.

It had to have been.

Circular logic. You are assuming that it was rotating in order to show that it was rotating.

If "day" simply meant a period of time, then it would still work even if it wasn't rotating at all.

7. Was the universe created a closed system and, if not, what kind of energy did it run off of? if it was created open, what closed it?
8. Describe terra aqua and what kind of water it consisted of and why.

10. Explain how a 24-hour day could transpire before the sun was created.
11. Explain the difference between "miracles" and "magic."
12. When discussing Creationism, why should one never let himself stray from Genesis 1 or 2?

13. I double checked, the same strongs word is used for heaven and heavens, it's an english translation issue.

Answer: God created two more "heavens" after Genesis 1:1. In Genesis 2, "heavens" is plural because all three (atmosphere, outer space, Heaven proper) are being referenced.

Some would say that creating a universe that appears from all possible testing to be billions of years old when it is not a fake out.
