It sure is Sydney Australia.

You wonder why it is important?

I would say anything that the Pope does on a scale this size is very important to

Seventh-day Adventists.

As the Second Coming gets closer things such as this will beceome even more important.

There maybe over 500,000 Catholics coming to Sydney. We have 70,000

SDA's going to St Louis and the city thinks that is important. Here it could be

500,000 coming to Sydney. Over in Europe there was over one million

attending the Congress.

Yeah Althea--I don't get it either. Yes, we are aware of the role that the papacy plays in end-time events--but personally, I don't care how many go to see the Pope. It's just an non-issue with me. So please forgive me if I don't get involved in all the excitement.

In the world today there are only a few people that can make a real difference to outcomes that effect the majority.

One of them is the president of the United States and the other is the Pope.

It was both of these that had a major infuence to the demise of USSR and the break up of communism.

I doubt very much if anything such as this is going to happen in Sydney in 2008.

I believe it is good to know where the major players are standing today. It was only a few months ago that the wholoe world stopped for the burial of JP2. The date was changed for a Royal wedding so they could attend the funeral.

Some may not see the importance of such evemts, others do.

There is much evidence to support the theroy of the beast and it's power. I think having a lamb at it's head is part of the trickery. We should have compassion how could such a frail person "lamb of GOD" if you will be evil. God will bear a child and it will be holy. Satan will also have 1 but it willl be hit in the side. All i can say is revelations holds the truth!

I think the reason that a post does not get a reply to it is that sometimes it is the last on the previous page and then seems to get lost. I oft6en only read the page that is open because of time constraints and do not go back and read every post that has been made.
