While liberal individuals, politicians, schools, and media continue to secularize and promote ungodly values for America, it's surprising that any religious or moral reversal could occur. Such has just happened though with the Supreme Court's ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. Finally, five courageous Supreme Court Justices have affirmed the flawed legal basis for Roe vs Wade's 1973 abortion ruling, stating that:

"The Constitution does not prohibit the citizens of each State from regulating or prohibiting abortion. Roe and Casey arrogated that authority. We now overrule those decisions and return that authority to the people and their elected representatives.”

Without detailing the biological distinction between a baby and it's mother that refutes the cry of women wanting control over their own bodies, or the irrational moral justification of killing humans because they're not classified as people, let me address a variety of relevant points to this extraordinary court ruling.

Our nation's Founding Fathers specified that religious matters are to be left to the states. This was the case for over 150 years with each state enacting its own criminal laws of morality and religious values. In 1947, a very liberal/progressive Supreme Court betrayed that principle in the precedent setting ruling of Everson vs Board of Education, paving the way for 5-9 unelected Justices to dictate religious and moral values for an entire country's populace. That has been the case for the past 70 years as 16 Supreme Court decisions have effectively replaced America's Christian heritage with a secular one. Make no mistake about it: abortion is a moral value, and moral values are based upon religious values. The current Justices have not only made a sound legal decision in upholding the Constitution which says nothing about abortion, but have also upheld our Founding Fathers' framework for a nation of United but differing States - with strict limitations upon federal authority. Overturning Roe vs Wade won't outlaw abortion, but it will allow the people of each state, through elected officials, to choose their moral standing on the issue. Any rational, freedom conscious person should respect and appreciate this aspect of the decision.

There's already charges that the closure of potentially 25% of the country's abortion clinics will disproportionately affect the black population. That's probably right, but since abortion was promoted most by a Planned Parenthood leadership committed to racism against blacks, perhaps killing less of their children to suppress their population isn't such a good cause to rally behind. Could it be that killing fewer babies might actually be a good thing, regardless of race? Let's see, that might be like saying "All Lives Matter!" - a supposed racist, offensive claim these days. But shouldn't they?

There's been over 40 recent, destructive attacks against pregnancy centers offering free, real support for estranged women in need. More arson, violence, and even death threats are being promised by Jane's Revenge and other radical abortion advocates. Is this not the epitome of evil or insanity, pursuing harm to others that don't support your perceived right to kill innocent lives?

Over 64 million fetus/babies have been lawfully killed in America since the 1973 Roe vs Wade decision. This atrocity in depriving right to life and freedom exceeds America's slave history, Germany's holocaust, and even other nations' genocides - all justified by dehumanizing people. While apparently many liberal and secular individuals have no problem with this, Christians and others with any moral conscience should. We can't expect God to bless this nation when its culture supports the same two sins that caused the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. I pray this court's righteous decision will prompt a bit more mercy and time before America's current trend of depravity reaches God's judgement level.

May God bless Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, and may he bless the many others who have fought for decades to protect the sanctity of human life, knowing that each conceived child is a human being with an eternal soul, created in the image of God, possessing infinite value.

Murder is a crime and sometimes it falls under both Federal and State criminal statutes

Is Murder a Federal Crime?.

Murder is also immoral - it is a sin.

Neither Federal or state law can convict someone of "sin" but they can have criminal statutes that define what is a crime. Taking a human life is a crime in most cases. It does not matter that churches also define it as a sin - it is still a crime.

The state has no right to tell churches what is or is not a sin. But they can say what a crime is. States are supposed to observe the separation of church and state - such that no state can dictate that everyone in the state must belong to Methodist church or go to jail (for example).

Every Christian should support and celebrate this historic time.
No Christian can support unborn baby murder.

Just like no Christian should have supported slavery in the US in the 1800's. Once again we get to address the "value of human life" at the state level.

True but as I and many other keep stating, "The past is the past."
The sex slaves and the blacks who are still slaves in other countries are not done by Christians.
Any Christian who acts and believes in contrary to what God is is not one. Simple.

Oh we're pretending like the 14th amendment isn't a thing today.

Abortion has nothing to do with the 14th Amendment. That is not an opinion. That question has been settled by the court.

But the court hasn't been settled by the verdict of history...

So, now Roe v Wade has tumbled, will you Americans join me in doing what you can and get round to tackling with equal fervour the approximately equal numbers of people who die from hunger, malnutrition, and related and exacerbated disease?

Best wishes, Strivax.

That is an individual work that rests in all our hands.

Same sex marriage fall into the same category then.

Indeed so. But then again, if you want social justice, it makes sense to ask the beneficiaries of the current system (ie, those with money and resources) to make at least some contribution. Or is social justice owed only to the unborn?

Best wishes, Strivax.

True. The 14th amendment does not "Create the right" to kill your children.

Its called welfare , medicaid, medicare, ADRA, Red Cross, food pantries in local churches, Dorcas societies in various churches, ... a plethora of avenues being pursued by both federal and local government and churches in America today.

Or are you talking about "world hunger"?? If so there are organizations like ADRA that are sponsored by Christian churches that provide disaster relief but are not equal to " a planet load" of need in that respect.

Why do Christians want to force their beliefs on everybody else?

Good question. To address it within the context of the thread: my own feeling is that we all (ie, not just Christians) have an ethical duty to care for the weak and vulnerable in society. There are few weaker and and more vulnerable than the unborn, who have no voice of their own. Therefore we must speak for them. Life is good, (or we would all commit suicide), and it is too good to be abitrarily removed from a genetically distinct individual as a matter of mere convenience.

Best wishes, Strivax.

If that was a genuine concern, Christians would be pushing for healthcare for newborns as well.

Therefore we must speak for them.

It's impossible to spreak for them, when they don't have opinions or thoughts or sensory input.
