The truth is I lost interest in rugby after Francois Pienaar left. It's only after Jake White became the coach that I became a Springbok fan again.

After Francois - I really enjoyed Gary Teichmann as captain too. I thought the bokke became pretty boys and models more than players when Skinstad was captain.

I don't know about anyone else, but our [Baptist] church discussed the issue at length several months after the Lotto was started. We came to the conclusion that the Lotto is gambling, and that gambling was wrong, the logical conclusion being that playing the Lotto was a no-no. IIRC it had to do with not placing our trust in God to provide financially.

Anyhow, how many years down the line, and I don't regret stopping when I did. I have a Peace in my heart about it, and that's good enough for me.
