To stop struggling is much easier said than done. Much easier for Paul who wished everyone would want to be single, but knew many people desired marriage.
I'm more than happy to trust God's timing. As a male, I'm expected to initiate with a woman. I don't have the luxury of sitting back and being passive.
I know how you feel. I really want to get married, and every time I ask God about it, I get this one word every time. "Wait" I don't logically feel like waiting is the best call. I know plenty of people who are older than me who aren't married, and I want to do something about it, but God keeps telling me to wait, so I'm waiting. I'm praying for you, that you find the same peace that I have had. I would like to share some advice with you, though. It seems to me that God is not telling you, "no". Maybe you're hearing the same thing as me. I just recommend that it doesn't matter how long the wait is, it's what you do with it. I asked God for about a month for something I could do while I'm waiting, and I think He was pleased with that, because I have felt in my heart the desire start something big. I'm not sure what, yet, but I can tell that God is preparing me for something beyond myself. Ask God to give you something to do that greatly pleases Him. If you're busy, the wait will seem much shorter.
"If the Lord, Jehovah, makes us wait, let us do so with our whole hearts; for blessed are all they that wait for Him. He is worth waiting for. The waiting itself is beneficial to us: it tries faith, exercises patience, trains submission, and endears the blessing when it comes. The Lord's people have always been a waiting people." Charles Spurgeon
"He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might He increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men fall exhausted; but they who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall walk and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:29-31
Essentially, you're waiting for something that practically only God can provide. So while you wait on the LORD, let it not be in vain.
God bless, and I pray that you find an amazing wife who loves God as much as you do.
