  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.
  7. There has been an addition to the announcement regarding unacceptable nick names. The phrase "Let's go Brandon" actually stands for a profanity and will be seen as a violation of the profanity rule in the future.

Strange dream, not sure if it means anything

I had a strange dream early this morning.
I was trying to get wax out of my right ear, and pulled some out. At first it looked like wax but in a split second it turned into what appeared to be a beautiful round piece of honey. It was about the size of a dime, thin, hard outside, but the inside was wasn’t and I could see the honey moving around. When I looked closer there was a small speck, round, thin and see through. It was floating. All of a sudden it had a drawing off a woman on it, she was laying on her side with her arm bent and under her head. (Holding it up) The woman was moving a little, she had thick curly hair. I looked below and some writing came across but it said something about jezebel. She was a jezebel I’m assuming, I can not remember what the rest of it said. I’m not sure if it was saying something about a jezebel spirit or what.

I found it rather odd. I did read about Jezebel because I have not read that yet in my Bible. How do we know if something we dream is from God or not?

Maybe I need to hear the sweet message of something wrong that I am doing? Lol I have no clue.

I got admit since 2015 I've noticed a trend of Christians, especially of the Charismatic sort taking their dreams too seriously. Like a lot of people seem to act like everything they dream has a supernatural meaning to it. Which seems to go beyond even what the Bible portrays concerning dreams, the people who had prophetic dreams do not seem to have them every day, but as once in a blue moon sort of thing.
But I've really seen people do some goofy things because of dreams, like some of the people prophesying Trump beating Biden did so because of their dreams etc.

And what get's me is dreams and dreaming were one fun area I studied in psychology, like if I couldn't take a class relevant for my future intended career in mental health I sometimes took a class or write a report in another part of psychology that interested me and this one and social psychology were my favorite ones. Anyway the biggest predictor of dreams is your waking life; what are the things you are doing, watching, thinking about, worrying about etc. besides your past life etc. This is what really got me when watching these so called "prophets" read a lot of stuff into seeing Trump etc. in their dreams they read that as an endorsement from God etc. when in reality it was because they were watching lots of news covering politics, thinking about the election all the time only to have that be reflected back in their dreams.

Well I’m not charismatic..I just have some that really stick out in my head. I don’t see why God couldn’t communicate to us in dreams?

My experience is that t does not matter where the dream comes from, but if it contains references to the Bible then one should search it out because the time may well come that you wish you had.

"For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; 16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction," Job 33:14-33 Shown in Scripture Gen 20, 31, 42, 50, 40-41, Matt 1-2, etc.

Littlek think this is a warning dream. There's someone (Jezebel can be male or female) in your life or will come that initially what they say is going to seem normal (wax) then appealing (beautiful piece of honey). But you look closer (might want to asks God to give you discernment so you can know more than than what it appears on the surface).

Jezebel sent word to Elijah that the gods would get even with him - he had just defeated 850 ungodly prophets. She would take his life within 24 hours. When he got this message from her, Elijah "went for his life."

Encourage you to asks God about it.

    Regarding dreams -

Sounds much like the harlot of Mystery Babylon written in Revelation who certainly has a Jezebel type Spirit.

Mystery Babylon, not to be confused with historic Babylon. Revelation 17. Worth a good study even if you don't quite get it.

I get from that you need to be careful who you listen too. You can get a lot of negative advice, especially online.

"Trust in the LORD with all ALL your heart, and lean not on your OWN understanding: in ALL your ways acknowledge Him, and HE will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

Hi.. God does talk to us in dreams.. seek pray ask Him what it meant. The enemy can also gives us dreams visions. I don't know of one group of believers running with dreams over the other. Some do think every dream is from God and run with that. Not saying lol your doing this. For me "Jezebel" no where in the word of God was she called a spirit even Christ in Rev did not say she was a spirit. So for me right there. Who then do we listen to about what Jezebel is or is not? See for me seen this word "Jezebel" used to attack make fun of some Christian women.

See take Rev where Christ "You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet." Now I have read more then once things like...that most likely was not here name or Most likely referring to a woman in the church who influenced it the same way Jezebel influenced Israel into idolatry and sexual immorality". Read it.. seems Christ was talking about a real woman Jezebel who calls herself a prophet. He named her so man then jumps to speculation to get to a spirit of Jezebel. Oh and I know we use so many "I bind the spirit of" so many names not in the word of God. So pray about this seek Him He will tell you by His word.. He always backs up what He says by His word. Even when He showed me something about a year ago at the end said "I am the vine you are the branches". That is written,.

Why do you reply to the devil people? God tells us not to engage, just laugh at it. Who replies to this OP?

The spirit of Jezebell is indeed in many churches (the love of money and fame etc) and one can not hear the Lords voice through them.

I would say, if it encourages you to do something that is not in line with love of God or neighbor, it's not from God. The rest is wide open.

At any rate, that's some pretty sexy ear wax. I wouldn't put too much stock in it, just do what you know to do. My sense is, if God really wants to communicate to you it will be clear. If it's not clear, it's not your responsibility. Just keep living the life in Christ we've been shown and you'll be good. For what it's worth... :)

    1 Corinthians 14:33
33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Very likely, your dream was just a dream. If God was trying to say something to you in it, you'd know what it was. He's not in the business of confusing you. This is how you'll know a dream was from God. Any confusion or uncertainty as to what God said to you in the dream is a sure sign it was just one of the sort of thousands of nonsensical, meaningless dreams we all have.

Be very wary of any who propose to tell you what your dream meant. Self-elected dream interpreters are essentially false prophets. Trust no one of this sort to communicate God's truth to you. Every prophet of both Old and New Testaments was well-established as such by miraculous, supernatural events and a perfect "track record" of the fulfillment of the things they claim God told them to declare. To get it wrong in OT Israel put the false prophet under the penalty of death. You can bet if this was the cost of false prophesying today, there'd be crickets from all those who are so eager to pronounce, "Thus says the Lord."

Blessings in Christ Jesus! Indeed this is warning. It is a warning of a false prophetess who will give you words that are smooth, that are like music to your ears, and honey to your lips. They claim to be a prophetess, and the laying down on the right side(claiming to be Christian) is actually imitating a prophet of old. A true prophet has no need to hold up their own head as this is what The Lord does.(He lifts our heads). He is faithful. As one matures in the faith, they are able to see the jezebels(contolling spirits) in our lives or on the internet.(for we are not ignorant of his devises). The Lord's messages are always timely, so perhaps you already know who this is. If not, when it happens, you will know from where your dream came. So yes be careful of what and whom you listen to, as Jesus has already given us the warnings of this time we live in. Have a Blessed day!
