Stirring Tribute

A challenging On-line Thanksgiving service was conducted today, by Pastor Jon Jarvis of One Church,Gloucester,UK. Faith Anders one of our elderly super-heroes went home to be with the LORD,just under two weeks ago. Pastor Simon Jarvis,One Church Network Leader gave a timely tribute, of this well loved,kind and friendly lady,who worked with the homeless and needy children,as well as being a faithful prison visitor to Wormwood Scrubs and Leyhill Prison. She and her husband,Mike worked hard in the church ministries,including the Link Citizen's Outreach.Their son,Chris read about the Good Samaritan. Mike paid tribute. She only wanted to glorify Jesus. She will be so missed,a beautiful Christian lady!

How we thank God for every servant of His that enters into the rest of the LORD. What beautiful memories we have of their love and kindness. What grace has flowed through their lives to us!

We can learn so much from each example our Wonderful Saviour gives us. Let us seek to follow Jesus and emulate His servants who have gone before us!
