One side has all the money, education, communications infrastructure, and people, most of the air and seaports, a significant number of military bases, and the seat of the federal government.

The other side has Texas, Nashville, and Mardi Gras.

I think the meaning of the meme is that in case of a civil war, one side would win because the other side is silly, and thus said other side should accede to the demands of the first side.

I'm aware of Nashville's leanings. My point was not to characterize Nashville as conservative; if anything, it was to jokingly reduce TN to being nothing more than Nashville, i.e. what does the south have besides TX, Nashville, and Mardi Gras?
