See!! It's just that the male genetic makeup is more tuned to honesty, than propriety ;)
That may be so.

Though I certainly try to be honest. I mean, I DID admit it was a little funny to me.

No, maybe men are ... tuned a little differently than you propose, lol.

But I think God put a certain balance in things.

I mean, when I watch Braveheart, I know *I* wouldn't be suited for front lines combat, but there are certain things in life I think women are well suited to. :)

Now, let's hope I don't draw the wrath of lurking feminists for saying so.

And to be more complete, I will say that I learned when I became a mother that God put just a little bit of tigress or mother bear in human mothers, when it comes to our babies being threatened. ;)

But I will admit, my mind created an Irish accent saying those words, and it WAS just slightly comical to me. :D
My wife and daughters often exchange text messages in English but written in the Greek alphabet. We discovered that we all read them out loud with a strong Greek accent. Its hilarious :)

LOL I thought I replied to this. That struck me as hilarious, but the first time I tried to do it in my mind, I can read the Greek letters, understand in English, but I couldn't get the heavy Greek accent in my mind (I was trying to hear a man's voice). Kind of a mind-bender for me. Not elastic enough I guess. Reread it today and it was easy to "hear" ... in the accent of a dear lady in our parish who teaches seminarians and translates. Her accent is very heavy, but she enunciates SO carefully. So now I can "hear" it just fine. :)

Oh, I was going to reply, and just realized this iPad doesn't have Greek installed. Hmph. Now I have to figure out how I did that last time ...

Though it's something of an annoyance because I frequently hit the language toggle by mistake.

so yesterday I got to change the altar cover and the panels here at St Tikhon's, which means I got to see and touch the altar consecrated by St Raphael of Brooklyn. pretty awesome I must say
