Our house blessing will be Sunday afternoon, God willing. Our priest is blessing several houses on the same side of town, and then we're all meeting and bringing food for a meal at the last house. Should be great!

The parish liked that idea. Everyone in the parish was invited.

Of course, it came with a price ... not one that college students could afford.

Gourmet meals were served. Recipes were shared.

Congratulations. I am still battling the over-50 tummy bulge.
Clothes just do not fit me right anymore, so I am wearing jumpers a lot more, and skirts with vests to hide it.

Oh, and if anyone could tell me who the icon at 2:09 is of, I'd be interested. It looks like the martyrdom of a Metropolitan by the Soviets? I'm unsure.

Oh, and if anyone knows who the the chant is from, I'd love to know. Its awesome

It appears to be part of a bigger icon of the martyrs from the Communist Yoke.
