Hello.
I visited a doctor today about my Tinnitus. It honestly didnt give much. Felt like flushing money down the toilet. Some tests here and there. It ended with him prescribing some anti depressants. mirtazapin, which is a ototoxic medication.
Ive read some about it and that it can make your T worse. Why would a doctor recommend something like this for T improvements?
I will not take them, and to be honest, I dont know why I even agreed to getting them when he mentioned them, desperation perhaps. It didnt cost much but still.
I´ve decided that God, and Him alone will be my anti-depressant. To hell with them pills. (unfortainly i still need pills for sleeping, but I hope I´ll be able to quit them too eventually)
It will be tough and I understand that it can take a long time to get used to Tinnitus and habituate to it.
Thoughts?
Im just trying to reach out in times of pain and despair.
God bless
