Spiritual Warefare section

I was thinking there should be a spiritual warfare forum on here, possibly in the spiritual gifts or Christian growth section. I've been attacked by demonic spirits for at least 2 years now and it is a very, very real problem that people need help with

I would tend to agree William, although I know what they would probably say right off as being the problem with this: Lots of wackos may end up posting all sorts of things. Satanists also can get drawn into Forums like that because they work to keep people from getting delivered from demons.

So publicly it may have some real complications. But maybe what could at least be made available is a separate section of the Prayer Wall specifically for Spiritual Warfare. That way, it would not be open to "advice," yet people could still be made aware of needs, and spiritual attacks taking place against CF members.

I understand what you are saying and I have also been struggling in this area. Yes, it is a very big problem and we should be able to pray for each other here. But I would say it is always best to seek real life help/support.

Several years ago, Christian Forums had a Deliverance /Spiritual Warfare Forum and I was one of the Mods and sadly the was a lot of Spiritual Conflict which has affected one until recently.

One wise Pastor, I knew, who had experience in the Deliverance Ministry told me at times you may think something is demonic when in fact it is an emotional wound which needs healing not a demonic spirit needing to be cast out.

So much discernment is needed in this area and I honestly do not see how such specialised help can be offered on a Christian Forum.

Yes I understand what you mean. In a perfect world we could have one of those sections... but then again, in a perfect world, we wouldn't need one

I guess deliverance and spiritual warfare is something that needs extreme discernment and mature believers in general, and that people have to ''sneak around'' to find people that need to get delivered so no one gets upset at what they are doing. Hardley any churches do actual deliverance from what I've seen, although I do like the ''SOZO'' ministries, but I think it is more of a prayer/Christian counseling ministry.

I understand the emotional wounds that you are talking about, but with me I feel like demonic spirits feed off those emotional wounds... that's how I got my demons I think, emotional wounds from growing up around abuse in my family, etc.

I must say I love sharing with others like yourself, because over recent months I have start to learn more about these issues.

I totally agree that demonic spirits feed off emotional wounds.

Some years ago I went to a Deliverance Minister had 3 or 4 sessions and came away totally traumatised mainly by 'shouting.' But I've recently received help to see the positive in deliverance ministry.

The best warfare against demonic attack is to keep living for Jesus. Eph. 6:10-18 and 2 Cor. 10:3-6 (and others) talks about faith, prayer, scripture knowledge, and obedience to God being how we fight.
