Rachel is spiritual mother of Israel!
A type of Mary as spiritual mother of Christians!

The 12 sons of Jacob have 4 biological mothers, but Rachel is the spiritual mother of all Israel!

Matt 2:18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are no more.

Mary is Spiritual Mother of Christians!

John 19:26-27
When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith has he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

Jesus is not just asking John to care for His mother, if so He would have said so.

Jesus is in the very least making Mary John’s spiritual mother! And if the apostle John needs a spiritual mother so do we!
What is the family of God without a mother? The mother is the heart of the family! Jesus said I will not leave you orphans! Jn 14:18 He proved Mary the mother of one disciple then He does so for all disciples!

As eve was the mother of all the living in the first creation, gen 3:20 so Mary is the mother of all those who live in Christ and the new creation!

Mary is spiritual Mother of the living in Christ and the new creation!

Just as Eve was the mother of all the living
Genesis 3:20
And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

Rev 12:17 our spiritual mother!

In the communion of saints She is Mary help of Christians who consented to our salvation and gave us the savior! The mother of our salvation! Lk 1:28 Lk 1:30 Lk 2:30

Queen Esther is a type of Mary

Both are Queens
Both are fair
Both find favor, Ester with the king, Mary with God. Lk 1:30
Both intercede for the salvation of their people. Lk 1:38 Mary consents to our salvation!

2:16 So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.

17 And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.

18 Then the king made a great feast unto all his princes and his servants, even Esther's feast; and he made a release to the provinces, and gave gifts, according to the state of the king.

5:1 Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.

2 And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

3 Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.

4 And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.

5 Then the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that he may do as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.

6 And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.

7 Then answered Esther, and said, My petition and my request is;

8 If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said.

9 Then went Haman forth that day joyful and with a glad heart: but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king's gate, that he stood not up, nor moved for him, he was full of indignation against Mordecai.

7:1 So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen.

2 And the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom.

3 Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:

Holy Spirit has been downpoured since Pentecost day to give spiritual leading, why seek human ?
Because this is God's way. The supernatural spiritual Life in human persons has an intended path of growth and development analogous to our natural human path: from conception, to hidden nurturing in the womb of the mother, to birth into infancy, and on to childhood, and to adolescence and to adulthood and on - it is hoped - to full maturity. Ponder the role of the (natural) mother in this path - a path designed by God. In that light, ponder and listen and ponder some more, what Jesus was saying from the Cross concerning His mother and His beloved disciple.

And like Mary, in her discipleship, in all things not understood for now, hold them - guard them - in the heart until, God willing, His light illuminates it all. His Truth is proclaimed in all of His Creation.

Lk 2:19 But Mary kept all these things, pondering them in her heart.
Lk 2:51 And he went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them; and his mother kept all these things in her heart.

2Pe 1:18 we heard this voice borne from heaven, for we were with him on the holy mountain.
2Pe 1:19 And we have the prophetic word made more sure. You will do well to pay attention to this as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
2Pe 1:20 First of all you must understand this, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation,
2Pe 1:21 because no prophecy ever came by the impulse of man, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

How do you understand Rev 12?
Rev 12:1 And a great portent appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars;
Rev 12:2 she was with child and she cried out in her pangs of birth, in anguish for delivery.
Rev 12:3 And another portent appeared in heaven; behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems upon his heads.
Rev 12:4 His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bear a child, that he might devour her child when she brought it forth;
Rev 12:5 she brought forth a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne,...

And add to that, this:

Rev 12:17 Then the dragon was angry with the woman, and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus. And he stood on the sand of the sea.

For we are the younger brethren of Christ our Lord and God, by the adoption we have received in Him, by which His Father is our Father. In this way, we can say that, also, since we are the brethren of Christ, His mother is our adoptive mother as well. While she is only human, as Christ our Lord was conceived and born of a human woman by the power of the Holy Spirit, she is a mother to us even as we also have Abraham as our father in the faith. If Abraham can be called the father of the faithful because of Christ, I see no reason to object to calling the Lord's mother our mother in the faith.

We have, I believe, many mothers and fathers. All of the patriarchs (and matriarchs!) of Israel are our parents in faith. Mary, the Blessed Virgin mother of our God Jesus Christ, at the very least, cannot be excluded from these.

She is our mother in a much more literal way. and not merely "by adoption" or legalistically. Consider this:

Rev 12:17 Then the dragon was angry with the woman, and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus. And he stood on the sand of the sea.

"Her offspring" demands more than mere "by adoption". The Greek carries the Catholic view deeper into the supernatural mystery of her personal and real maternity: the phrase that has been translated "rest of her offspring" is from the words "λοιποί - loipoi" (remaining ones: - other, which remain, remnant, residue, rest)and her "σπέρμα - sperma". Yes, her sperma! (something sown, that is, seed (including the male “sperm”); by implication offspring)

I would argue that the "sperm"of Mary was that given her by the Holy Spirit - the very same Personal Presence Who miraculously made fertile conception in the womb of Mary, Whose Presence in otherwise natural human persons miraculously result supernaturally in "those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus." They are "begotten from above" as Nicodemus was told:
Jn 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born (or, begotten) of the (supernatural, divine) Spirit is spirit.

Mary is not (merely) our mother "legally", but supernaturally, because of the generative work of God the Holy Spirit in her and in the faithful. Her seed is the Holy Spirit - who not only "visited" her for a moment, but Who remained with and in her as she remained with and in Him from then on. There is a supernatural union, a bond with Mary and her "offspring" that is thus supernaturally maternal and filial.

This Truth in itself awakens a warmth of love for Mary, a devotion and tenderness - not by way of reasoning or legalities, but innately, connaturally.
