If you don’t live near a Hobby Lobby, you can still shop at their on-line site. Also, the family that owns Hobby Lobby also owns Mardels. Mardels is a Christian office supply/book-music-Bible/homeschooling supply store. I shopped at Mardels for curricula and supplies back when I was homeschooling. I’ve also bought several Bibles...

I would think 90% of stores in the US sell junk from China. So, all things being equal, you could support a store that willing to stand up against abortion over one that isn't.

Send $20-$40 my way & I'll spend it at their store.
Otherwise, sorry don't have the free $ right now.

Supporting China is not exactly standing up against abortion. China is far from pro life with its one child policy.

Then you better not shop anywhere in the US. I've yet to find a store that only sells stuff made in the US.

Edit to add: If you have found one, I'd like to shop there, so please link me. (I'm serious.)

I hear he was into macramé. Iron crosses & algols. He had others pick up his supplies.

Don't be harsh on him. Have you ever tried knitting a swastika? It's hard.

The blog I posted had a lot of sources for craft items for those wishing to avoid Hobby Lobby and other places that sell mostly Chinese products. I can't vouch for any of them, because, well, I'm not very crafty. :(

I try to shop local. But for other items you cannot get locally & not made in China, it's like looking or the holy grail. Especially in a small town.

I've been against easy imports all along. But, the way politicians are owned by businessmen (who go overseas to get cheap labor), I doubt anything will ever be done about imports.
Craft products seem to be mostly Chinese made, but sometimes if you look around you can find stuff. But, it's not easy.
