Earliest launch opportunity as early as Tuesday.

1. Currently preparing the tower to catch the spacecraft
2. Will be looking especially at the tile and heat shields

"Tiles are about twice as strong that were on the last flight. We want to put secondary structure that offer a blade of protection so that if a tile cracks or comes loose it doesn't cook the rocket." - Elon Musk

I post this early to gain understanding of the mission challenges. The video is live...

I hope the workmanship is better than the Tesla driver killing cars.

Looks like an August first like launch for SpaceX Starship 5. The problems I see with this spaceship is that they are going to try to catch it with grabbers as it has no landing legs. But... There are no grabbers on other planets! They do have quite a way to go on this project!

Three more weeks guys, until August 1, 2024. And yes, there are no grabbers on other planets, however, SpaceX will probably add landing legs in the future, in order to land on the moon or Mars.

Or better than the Cybertruck which rusts a lot, or the Tesla autopilot that fails and turns off 1 second before a crash to avoid liability.

Booster checks were performed this morning...

Woo, yeah. Is the launch still on for August 2024? Could this mean a moon landing by SpaceX in < 15 years?

SpaceX should make a show called Will It Melt, where random objects are placed under the rocket during booster tests, such as an old pickup truck, an old fireproof safe, or some other metallic items. :)

When I was a kid, there was a show on YouTube named Will It Blend, featuring a Blendtec blender and an object to blend, such as an iPhone 4, CDs or a Wii Remote. So, this is kinda what I am thinking, but on a larger scale.

Starship recovery - The next big step for SpaceX...

It would be nice if the rocket could land on solid ground, but it takes a lot of energy according to the video (return to launch site is RTLS, costing 2x as much propellant). :) When will the Starship fly again?

Getting closer!

Woo, I am excited. Anyways, it is getting late here, so I hope you have a blessed night, brother. Looking forward to the launch.
