Sound in head (Tinnitus) was gone for a day after prayer, but now returned

Our prayers were answered for a day with less pain and very low sound. But now I was woken up again with this sound on one side of my head. Nothing seems to make a difference, and I've tried all the suggestions: doctors gave me hearing aids, in case that would help; there is no medication for this; I have taken expensive herbal solutions; drumming in spots on my head, but on and on it goes. Only prayer has given relief. So, I ask my Christian community to pray again for this sound to stop.

I drown mine out with noise,usually tv. Try it. Soon you can sleep with it not the tennitis. I don't have a bad case of it though.

I thank you all for your prayers. There are the days when the sound and pain come and other days when it virtually goes away.
The days of prayer are when things are quieter. Tonight the sound and pain are back, keeping me awake. So, asking my Christian community (the Church) for more prayer.

Have you tried any sleeping pills? I would think you wouldn't hear it in your sleep. Do you keep a journal to see what you might be doing to trigger it?.
